General tech market malaise- lazy assumption that all tech stocks are the same - OTC listing in the US seems to have attracted the automated trades that short sellers use. Like Angle no TR1s despite the massive dumping over the last couple of months. Absolutely zero recognition among UK retail investors - anything over 3% held by institutional investors, no retail investor platform holdings.

It's a great way to invest in unlisted UK and European companies like Graphcore, Revolut, Thought Machine, Form3, Aiven and Endomag (recently had their pre-op breast cancer tech approved by Nice)

I have traded in and out of it a few times and have always regretted not being invested when have sold out.

I think if the problem was the slow rollout of Parsortix then AN would be quick to sell the company to another that could deliver it more quickly.

There's no guarantee that selling Parsortix into the bureaucratic mess of a large company like Abbott with multiple competing priorities would accelerate anything.

Also given the shocking inadequacies of Abbott's management around the baby milk formula production deficiencies would you really want to let them loose with Parsortix.

Contrary to others here I don't think all the blame is attributable to them. The biotech pullback has been horrible. They maybe should have been better prepared for a major downturn especially given the ridiculous valuations given to some biotechs before the dam burst. I think they probably got a bit starry eyed when they were woied by US investors like Chardan and Oliveira but they came along as white knights after the Woodford disaster.

Individual investors themselves surely have to look at their own due diligence. I mean there's this idiot below claiming to have thrown 30k down with zero analysis of the company. Just thinks it looks cheap. (Probably just another one of Porkys accounts like Taunton Boy turned out to be).

I lost money but maybe I should have done some more digging around the time of the Oxford loan rather than taking it as per the RNS. At the time it seemed too good to be true that a tiny biotech could be able to borrow up to $30m rather than having to raise cash from a fundraise.

Maybe that's when they should have done the raise instead of ****ing around with Oxford.
