I actually took a look at the SNG P2 trial study on Friday and found quite a serious issue ( patients with diabetes and heart problems were significantly over represented in the placebo group) compared to the SNG 001 group, which would have partly explained why the dosed group had better results since at the time of the trial diabetes at least was seen as a key indicator of worse pathology.

Even if yesterday RNS had not happened I wouldn't have posted the finding as no one is listening and I would have just been accused of being mean.

HarChris I was warning people that Tils was not going anywhere as they had no trials in progress.

A year later they still have no trials in progress.

You were telling people how wonderful they were while you were about to sell up.

Of course I was the minority opinion and was told to shut up by people like you. A lot of people lost a lot of money there. As they did with Avacta, SNG, ODX, Novacyt and Hemo.

No one really cares if you dip your toe here to get your 10%.

Maybe compare my record with those who have lost a lot in Avacta, Tils and SNG, none of whom will recover anytime soon. (Avacta could possibly be a buyout target but I wouldn't invest on that basis as too uncertain)

We will see where 4D is in a few months time

And as for brazen promotion I am talking about the benefits of doing research that goes beyond charting and listening to rampers on the various boards.

And I do research. 4D has dropped because the market is fickle and under researched and their has been consistent selling by a large shareholder.

The underlying business is strong and you can't say the same for the others. Hence the reason for staying here despite the drop and not being tempted by the current "low" valuations at SNG and Avacta.

You were calling me out for warning people on Tils and I am sure many that stayed there regret not listening to me given their current predicament in what is effectively a zombie company

I want to make money HarChris and that will not happen with Tils (no trials), SNG (all in one basket) Avacta (lots of promise but need another year or so of progress)

On the other hand it is all to play for with the likes of 4D, Angle, Scancell and C4XD who have strong diversified pipelines but few even know they exist

It depends whether the stock owner bothers to notify the company who then issue the T1.

As I said previously Oliveira did not inform 4D when he built up a holding of over 5%. I get the impression he appeared out of nowhere when there was a placing at 35p and he wanted to participate. The market then needed to identify him as a shareholder of interest

Merck has a Mcap about 2300 times that of 4D

And yet they own 5% and are collaborating closely on 2 projects ICI resistance and nasal vaccine adjuvants. Both of which are the key foci of the Merck Exploratory Science Centre.

So right now the Mcap is £56m

And we are chasing an ICI market worth $56bn

I think that is a buying signal

As I said the other day if you buy 4D you effectively get 5 companies in one given the various pipelines (oncology, respiratory, neurodegenerative, gastrointestinal and autoimmune disease).

Given DP and AS background they must be salivating. A biotech would normally have 1 maybe 2 pipelines.

We have 5.
Blautix is already overdue for out licensing.

If I see the value here with this diversified portfolio of assets then so will the likes of Merck.

Actually make it 6 pipelines as I forgot about the vaccine adjuvants deal with Merck

There are no sanctions available to them and it's more about courtesy than anything.

Tils - held briefly, took loss selling in the 90s which I recouped elsewhere. Its now at 25p and many have had higher trading costs imposed by their shift to Nasdaq- some still can't trade it.

Avacta - got out at about 115-120. Had a degree of success trading the swings but could see writing on the wall when LFT failed. Lots of hype about a dose escalation P1 trial but will be a while before worth going back in there. Would buy at half the price for LTH

Forte - held briefly as price was hammered. Got out with small gain a couple of weeks before the epic crash as I could see it was a case of boom or bust on trial results.

SNG- never invested there. Not even this morning when I picked up a few others on Freetrade app this morning. Don't doubt it is a good company but it's a one trick pony with too much hype and overloaded with inexperienced retail traders who are following the lead of those who say they have done their research.

So just need my 4D and Angle calls to play out now and will be sitting pretty.

It's hard to say but he must be under 3% by now.

The lower the price has dropped the more he has to offload and when market stress he dumps more.

500k shares were sold in a couple of hours one afternoon- sometimes buying and selling has seemed co ordinated e. g. 50k sold 50k bought minutes later

There's appetite out there and when he finishes dumping who will they get stock from

If there hadn't been a buyer recently we would be down in the low twenties

Nelson - Oliveira is a US investor so reporting is at the 5% threshold not 3%

AimTrader- I would say from 90p to 45p could be attributed easily to SO-he owned over 10% of the company and given the relatively low volumes it was a helluva lot of stock for the market to absorb.

The other part of the drop would be shorts taking advantage knowing he was selling, general biotech malaise and fickle retail investors jumping shup

Either way it was 5.67 on the 2nd Feb and he has dumped a lot recently.

He is not exactly that punctual with his notifications. When he originally bought in he never issued a notification so I doubt he will on the way out

There won't be any more holdings RNS as he will now be below 5%. His last SEC filing showed just about 5.2% and that was on 2nd February.

I think he is history now for 4D

A company called Yumanity who are partnered with Merck for Parkinsons had their IND put on hold last month.

So getting IND is an important step as FDA will have authorised the dose 4D put forward to start trials straight away in Parkinsons patients.

Yumanity are now openly looking for a buyer since the FDA decision.
