billy thats what I was posting on cicc last year12 Oct 2019 17:19
The Mammoth in the room is the huge amount of US debt held by China .The amount of jobs possibly at risk in both countries if a trade war continues and the Hong Kong situation. China could possibly save face by agreeing a package including Equality of trade ,non transgression of intellectual/ patent/rights and an understanding re no military action in Hong Kong. Factories are already closing in China. No one wins with trade sanctions. You do not have to be Maynard Keynes to know that. Even Milton Keynes knows that! Hopefully someone locks Trumpy up in a room for a while with no internet.
Yes mate I was just about to post it`s not raining12 Oct 2019 15:47
but it`s just started. Not looking good for my rendering next week.We have decided with the builder to put in a frame along the back to support the beams. We will lose 3inches but it will be neater and cheaper.I`m more worried about getting rid of all that rubble..lol. Re HL ,I suppose they deal worldwide? Barx do not do anything outside the UK and I need Canadian (tsx) coverage.I have an IG account but not used it yet.
re "safe and warm" I`m sure it`s safe if not in bear country but suspect the Warm bit might be a misnomer for much of the year. Macnai would be able to tell you.I do know the Indigenous bear population rarely visit the high street in the larger cities, and one has never been seen in the TSX building.( other than a pessimistic seller)
I would just say that those of you who receive it12 Oct 2019 14:31
and can read a balance sheet, I'd look at the earnings per share column. Interesting reading in the light of "battyboys" offer of one Canadian cent per share. All this of course is good news but totally reliant (in terms of existing shareholders)on gaining a listing. Good to know cicc is not standing still while waiting. The accounts address some of the concerns of us long termers. GL all and have a good weekend. PS I suggest if you are a shareholder and do not have the pdf you can ask Stuart via the normal email. I have not checked the website ,it may be available there already.
Might make more but best to get back your cash.My worry would be more euro crud over the weekend sending the sector down again. The RYA account has gone up by a few £K in the last week. I suppose this unlikely deal might be pushed through by Murky Angela before the summit mid month? Meanwhile terror attacks ,tankers being attacked..What a wonderful world.
just been trying to sell glen at 238 before mkt closed but barx computer said mkt was closed! I mean it`s not like glen is a little aimer and hard to try ..I tried for ten minutes ,no go so complained via webchat ..getting no where so barx are getting it on Monday if glen is down.. Cannot wait to leave them pal they are truly shocking.
cannot answer you denby ,I`d be attacked from all sides11 Oct 2019 16:17
lol... Why don`t you set out financially and commercially why ezj have "it all going for them".I agree the future is bright for all surviving low costers which will certainly be Wizz ,EZJ and RYA.Mainly because they do not necessarily rely on the UK mkt for the majority of their profits.
I`ll believe the agreement when it happens. What are the chances of DUP, Eire,Euros,Parliament agreeing? Nice rise but just don't want to see regression again.Airlines are cheap imo. Up to my neck in dust bagging up rubble and endless old plasterboard.Builder coming round tomorrow for a looksee. Glen up too I note.I`m tempted to sell but really wanted 10% which would be 247. What do you thing there?
blimey this(Coventry) could rival11 Oct 2019 11:37
Davos 2019! Nice turnaround this morning. Daytrader I see airlines still flying in the right direction. Not sure it`s on the back of brexit optimism because as far as I can see there isn't any. Roll on a general election.
