If figures are based on 5 day working and 90% utilisation, that does not mean that equipment was operated for 90 % of full 5 days . The utilisation is pcentage of the available time. It is not unusual for equipment to not be available all the time, particularly when things are getting going. So we cannot project what outputs there will be unless we know available time and utilisation and if that is to change going forward. We can do fag packet stuff and say things like 7 day working should be 40% more output than 5 day working. However, it could be our 5 day working is not actually that as they start, stop, tune, try things out, continue with commissioning with varying grades and training. I think it’s fair to say, we won’t really get more solid indications until it’s been a few more months. In the meantime production is increasing and metal prices are too.

Tongues tan, I am not a slave. Like many people I go to work to provide for my family and myself. I also happen to think my work helps to improve the lot of my colleagues and those that I am able to help. I am coming to the time when I can retire, but am considering working on. My work affects people and their lives, so there is a certain pride I take in that. ShouldI retire, I will not be posting on BBs where I am not invested, it’s not something that interests me and would be strange thing indeed if it would give me some kind of satisfaction.

Tongue you’re putting in a fair old effort going into discussion on the BB. You say you’re not invested and don’t intend to be. Personally, I am invested and don’t think I could find the time to make the efforts you do. Big hats off to you. Just leaves a couple of questions in my mind……..Why?………and would you get pleasure from the company failing?
My view is Wres will now go from strength to strength and the current mkt cap will be a considerably larger figure going forward. I would like the company to succeed and investors make some money. Anyway have a good weekend and relax.

Here’s a thing, I have stood next to Kev (on the site visit I attended ) and saw the scheelite as Kev describes. I can validate that I was there because if you look at the site visit photo there is a very fine and good looking chap, that’s me.
Just saying, where I was, what I saw and who I was with. Incidentally, I have always said the initial benches would not yield that much compared to ore that could be reached once things had been going for a while. It seems I am correct in that; also, I based that view on what I saw when I was with Kev and Fernando where he also explained the exploratory drilling. It’s also fair to say I don’t know where the car park is currently situated.

It’s clear from Jaf that money can be made from Wres shares, you wouldn’t want to be out of these over the weekend.

Kev, I always had the impression jaf sold at a loss, probably because of the moaning. But if he got out at a profit that’s a well done for jaf.
Jaf, you say you made profit on Wres, therefore this would indicate you think it possible to make a profit here, but you project an opposite opinion. Is it possible that projecting a negative view enables profit to be made, I wonder, Funny old world, hope you continue to profit.

Indeed it is an excellent point Kev. The utilisation was in the 90% world which is good over 5 day periods. However, there was no mention of availability, they are not the same thing. The utilisation can be expressed as the time that the equipment was used as part of the time that it was available to be used. So if in reality the available time the equipment could have been used over five days came out to say 3 days ( but over a 5 day timescale) then operational time s 90% of 3 days not 5 ( albeit a 5 day week was in operation) . The two days worth of non available time could have been spent on start ups, on off lag time, adjustments, training, tuning etc. So if 5 day working was only actually 3 days available and then at 90 % there would not have been much stuff actually processed ie the ROM wouldn’t have been that much, having said that I don’t really know, but full comissioning and reaching design output usually takes time. The 90 % utilisation does not mean tha5 it was 90 of 5 days.
Anyway had a cracking day. With the roof open on me roadster, South Downs, Birling Gap, nice walk, fish and chips in Eastbourne, nice drive home. I like a nice day. Looking at the view from the cliffs, although in a transindental moment, I thought production increasing and price increasing mmmmmm. Couldn’t help meself.

Dreaming, I know to disturbingly positive, but if it gets to 47c then any soggy bits will really dry out well. Onwards and upwards. Ps preparation H is good for the farmers. Also copper supplements help with elasticity of veins, don’t know what the mtu on that is though.

Disco, I think we get to 225 tons when we put the Regua ore in the mix. It looks like we can get a lot more, as you point out from existing recovery with basic improvement of seven days and four weeks instead of three gets us a way
I also think even without Regua there can be improvements beyond the 114 tons you cite. As the workers get more tuned into the operation that will in itself create more productivity. I understand the operatives are now on a bonus scheme, in such incentivised environments productivity will increase month on month. If they choose to use worker involvement and innovation in something like a total quality structure they may well get improvements too. In the meantime full working 24*7 for thirty days would bring increasing productivity month on month. Even peace work gets productivity increase month on month. In the meantime good news on Regua would be a big indicator that would result in a step change. Meanwhile, metal prices increasing is on a percentage point gives us more than one on productivity.- and that’s rising. That’s all my opinion, what we need is numbers from the new working arrangements.
We will know once we get figures through Sept and Oct, which i think will be good, mind you still got to finally clear the Atlas overhang, but that’s getting there.

It’s a nice morning. Mkt cap is very low and the income last month extrapolated over 12 months exceeds that. The production is increasing on the five day working, to move to seven day working, the price of the metal is increasing, perhaps Regua with higher grade Ore to come on steam for the plant. The SP is on its low and lots of potential now imho. New day today, moving forward.

Jaf, thanks for the explanation. Now I understand, so goingunderground posts repeatedly day after day ( sometimes many times in a day) for months now on a companyhe has not, and says never would invest in purely from some sense of balance and altruism. I never could understand why anyone would do that, especially as they were expending so much time and effort. Toungueston seems to turn up periodically to dig in on bad news it seems. So motives relate to concern for others? ……..reallly…………..
I know that you were invested and sold so your views are based in a genuine interest. Personally, I would not come back on a bb where I longer had skin in the game at one time.

Guys, yep we do need updates. But we are increasing production, we are also going to 7 days ( which will give another 40%) . The Chinese stockpile of tungsten held by their metal company has now ran down its stock, demand is increasing and the price is going up. Increased production will also raise interest of potential refinances. It’s like global warming one thing leads to another, becoming a larger employer brings political sway too. Then there is still Regua to provide quality ore which is subject to licensing arrangements with the Portuguese govt, if that goes ahead then the Sao Martinho gold play most likely will benefit from opening up of licensing ( problem there since legislative changes last year). And yes Troajan gold prices still high so news there would be welcome. Now let’s see some numbers that are demonstrable and evidential on the increasing production front in sept/Oct and the worlds our lobster imho.

troajan, you made a very strong point where you provided the link and referrred to the early implementation of 7 day working and todays RNS says : From September the team will transition from 24 hrs 5 days to seen day working week (sic). yep 7. whereas the 15th July RNS said that 24 *7 would be no later than Q4...........so the latest RNS does not contradict and confirms this point, but does say its now going to be Sept Q3. So the 15th RNS under promised and this one over delivered. Corner turned on that alone.
Add Bermudas increased tungsten price with increasing production........now I have thought it through, I am feeling more confident than for a while . looking good imho.

It was not Wres that said things like 120 tons for July, it was people like me. Wres said production would increase, it did despite not getting high grade ore until after the first week.
CEO now says Wres to achieve 1000 tons for end of year dec, prior to this it was stated the range would be 800 to 1000, so that’s good.
Using my very general approx of approximate all things tototalled calling it: 800 tons of tin or tungsten still to come, at us getting $13000 per ton, we get $10,400,000 to come. What’s the mkt cap………yep refinance at a lower interest would certainly be on the cards I would have thought……that would be worth a few million. There I agreed with both in the same post.

Mind you if we go for 80 tons shipped and one million it comes out at $12500 per ton, it then again all sold may not correlate to money received- so I was just doing a ball park thingy I suppose we must currently be in the $12500 to $14700 range tough. It’s hard to know with varying contained metal and changing prices and ratios so I was trying for a rule of thumb number.

If we get a million dollars and produce 68 tons then we are getting approx $14,700, per ton, for our output.would have liked higher production, but the money is handy. We get paid in dollars , if the dollar is strong that’s a bit of exchange rate benefit too. Handy that the metal prices were high, that amount of money on rising production is good, but thought it would be more produced. If we are to see as our CEO states 1000 tons by December, he must expect that increasing production.
