There are those that decry the recent investment by ICD and the chairman as being necessary due to the need for money. There is no argument on that point, I think all can agree.
What is also the case is that ICD are a successful company and would have undertaken due diligence and the chairman would be aware of all circumstances before bunging in more from his pension fund.
So I would agree with the view that they invested money with expectations. How much and by when I do not know- but, they will have considered it to be a worthy investment.

Phevs, if the big sell was a disgruntled investor then it might have been dreamingof, he had a goodly many shares and has expressed disgruntlement. Whoever it was, if it’s a PI , I wish them well in their next investment.

Aston, I think you are wrong. They would have already eaten by now.Also, some do have some confidence, ICD put money in recently as have others.
We should be seeing some numbers soon, I would prefer if they show increasing production.very low SP at the moment. Aimho.

Noticed the tungsten price? LME tin is up at$43050 on Bloomberg. Well that nice for anyone selling tin.

Jaf, that would not be considered as due diligence, by any measure that I am aware of. It would have taken place and decisions would be based on such things as the ability to produce going forward etc. It seems that Wres passed through that process successfully.

We should get a RNS or RNSs on a number of matters soon. Completion or progress of damming and/or dewatering, production, stockpile facilities, approval or progress on application for environmental at Regua, possibly Sao Martinho news. Most important, of course, is production. I am sure all holders of shares would prefer good news on any, if not all, of these, or that other posters would be pleased too.
In the event there are good production figures the current SP will be seen as a rather cheap SP and buying opportunity.

Had dropped a little bit on some days last week. However, today just looking LME Tin on Bloomberg it is $42130, which is $446 or 1.07%up. I think everyone would agree that’s a good thing.

......Can agree that its nice to see blue as the colour on the SP Information, and that it would very good indeed if it continues.
PS,; IE you are correct imho that holding back on numbers might be a good thing if we have good results for January. It would please me if it were the case, as no doubt everyone else would be pleased too.

IE, yes it can very dry at la Parilla, it was when I visited. Deluges really would be unexpected, so let’s hope we have no more. This global warming has affected weather patterns in lots of places. Dewatering would be good for the mine and prolonged dryness very good indeed. Perhaps there will be information from a RNS on this matter, I think we should be getting one soo.

To spend lots of effort day after day for no reason and for that which you’re not involved in is pointless, imho. All in all, it may be that all postings are pointless- but, if it’s possible to misquote an extract of rules from Animal Farm: some are more pointless than others.

Dunkirk, seems there’s a lot on incessant stuff. Imagine being a non investor and spending loads of time day after day after day posting on a company you have no interest, or pulling up and digging at some one that is not posting at the moment due to serious health issues. Who would do that stuff?
As regards Wres, looks really cheap SP to me. We could get some rather good news next week, wouldn’t want to be out of these over the weekends.

Hi Aston Boy. I have had some conversations with some of the BOD and MM. My understanding is that they do not read the board. Primarily they are interested in running the company and not reading these boards- which is a good attitude imho. My understanding is that there used to be a lot of repetitive stuff from the same posters repeatedly and so it was perceived as not that useful. They would certainly be aware of the views of those that are large investors and those that take up placings as that indicates a view too. WE should also bear in mind, given the BOD's investment they would be very aware of the SP etc, and how that makes people feel as it includes them.

Dreamingof, I take your point and your prediction could be an outcome. My preference is for good news to be included in any RNS and particularly indications of increasing production. Given the prices for tin and tungsten, it’s a good time to produce it imho.
