I am not buying on moral grounds. Any profits you lot make I hope you donate a substantial part of it to the Ukraine appeal
Do you think NCYT could be a target for takeover. They are sitting on a big cash pile and would possibly be a good fit with some of the bigpharma's. It has been talked about in the distant past. I remain confident that testing will be required long term particularly as the virus produces/mutates more variants.
Two reasons Joe. One for environmental reasons but also because I believe hydrogen is the way forward for mobility as there is only a limited amount of lithium which the Chinese have made sure they have the lions share of the world resources. Don't think they can do that with water.
The other reason I live in Sheffield and so have some local interest in seeing the company succeed.
Also proving to be a good investment so far
What I find unbelievable in all this incompetence from Government is that they have not got the ability to have organised tests for all the lorry drivers going back and forth through Dover . Lorry drivers from mainland EU will no doubt be telling their colleagues and businesses when they finally get home what a shambles we are. Should have had testing in place for the guys going through the ports and tunnel months ago.
Ask now been quoted 9.90 by Halifax. Soon be over £10 so don't panic
Fortunately I am within 6 miles of my local community brewery which I am a member of and they deliver 6 pints of their draft beer for £15. The brewery also deliver bottled too. www.dronevalleybrewery.com
Cheers and hope you manage to find some beer as I believe a number of small micro breweries are offering a delivery or click and collect
Looks to me like a lot of us PIs set our stop loss at £4.00 and we have now been taken out. Not complaining though as already taken some profits as I was in initially at less than £1.00 . Got to ask my self if its worth getting in again. At moment happy to hang on to cash for the lockdown extension
Farn still needs approval for Traumakine. This is the translation. However looks good for treating those recovering from coronavirus.
The Traumakine drug from Turku-based drug development company Faron Pharmaceuticals is wanted as the last resort in the intensive care of coronavirus patients. The address, created on Thursday, has been signed by about 250 people by Friday night.
The address requires Fimea, the National Agency for Safety and Development, to authorize the use of the medicine as soon as possible to treat serious cases with the patient's consent.
- This drug has the potential to save hundreds, if not thousands of lives in Finland, justifying the address.
Traumakine is developed for the treatment of respiratory failure syndrome, ARDS. The medicine has not been authorized by Fimea.
The problem was the Phase 3 study in 2018, which did not produce the desired results. There was no statistical difference in mortality in patients treated with Traumakine or placebo.
According to Fimea, the positive results of a new study would be needed to demonstrate the efficacy and safety of the product.
- The public statement that 'the drug has no side effects' is also incorrect. All medicines have side effects. Traumatic efficacy and safety in the treatment of acute ARDS should be demonstrated in a randomized controlled trial - not yet conducted. Thus, it is clearly premature to say that the medicinal product is "unauthorized", the Fimea website states.
When do we get to know the result? Resigned myself to my heavy loss. At one stage held 750000 at an average of 20p. Sold most at 5.5p so now down to 50000. Is it worth buying at 4.6 0n the hope that they will be worth 5.5 again. Not that I can afford to buy many.
Been out all day and see there was a big drop middle of session. Somebody knows something. Not the first time there has been insider rumours. Are we expecting bad news on the bond front?
The Government halved the amount they were willing to support Sirius. We have heard lots from Boris already about how is willing to find money for no deal. The money he has mentioned includes billions for a fast Manchester -Leeds rail link. That project is years away yet here is a major project employing lots of local highly skilled . It promises to provide a payback in a much shorter timescale than transport infrastructure and will also be good for the UK balance of payments. Come on Boris I reckon Jeremy would like this project. I am sitting on a loss but I am no hurry to reap the dividend but we up north want to see you Boris mean business and not just bluster. This is a great opportunity to give the region a boost. Boris time you had a visit to Whitby and Teeside.
