Some large buys going through late, and a good finish to the week. In the presentation i got the impression they were genuinely bemused why the share price was so low.

Personally I can't understand it either. Will be interesting to see how we perform in the next few months.

Expecting a recovery in the share price after that presentation.

Anyone been paid yet? Not expecting mine until next week :) mines going back in here as soon as its received!

Quite. Wasn't happy with the throw away comment made after giving the 4.5 to 6.2p range that "not all that will be for the dividend". So my expectation is 3 to 4.5p range for the dividend.

That's assuming that they refinance at a good rate and they meet their threshold target.

Hence the fall in the share price.

Not very happy, but could still be an ok long term investment as they are intending to grow. They are also being discounted for the additional risk they are taking on by increasing debt.

So Blackrock has been increasing their position here. Looks like prospects here are viewed quite differently across the brokers. Looks like they have been taking advantage of JPM's short here.

You don't know the shorters motives, unfortunately. It's not as black and white as they have found an issue no one else has. They can easily be hedging this short against a long elsewhere, that they think will outperform SUPR.

It's not a share that is likely to be a stellar performer. It's just a steady return IMO.

It form part of my portfolio and it provides steady income. I'm happy with its place there.

If the capital markets day presentation is on line, then listen and make up your own mind as to likely level of dividend after the refinancing. It's not clear and depends on your level of optimism what your opinion is.

I wasn't that impressed anout the likely returns in the next year, but there certainly looks like long term value here.

Tony, you hit it on the head. This share price is dominated by the oil price. Somewhat unfairly IMO, as they continue to grow production, which also should be a major factor.

A steal at this price IMO, but I know short term oil traders dominate a bit here

@sturm. All my PTAL in tax wrappers, so its 15% for me. Base dividend around 4p a year after tax, so that's fine with me.

They are cancelling the shares they buy back, so they are reducing the free float by the shares bought.

It would be better if they also bought the management "bonus" shares in the market as well, instead of issuing new ones. I know the new management shares are not considered part of free float so I guess this decision is to preserve cash for dividends.

Personally I'm happy with the dividend return here.

Got oversold, and now starting to return to true value with the buy back. Those who bought low are unlikely to sell while the buy back continues IMO. Anyone still shorting this should be sweating.

Bought some more this morning. With 11.5% yield on a fully covered dividend this is still amazing value IMO.

Yeah, I also invested in SEIT yesterday, but not by selling these! Both are now long term investments for me, as both offer great potential yields.

I'm with Krusty as I try not to tinker with my holdings too much as the buy/sell costs eat into profits. Normally only sell if I think a share is considerably overbought.

Must admit I can see why this shareprice has stagnated since the investor presentation. Dividends to maybe restart in Q3 wasn't exactly what I'd hoped for. I sort of got the impression the dividend may be half of what it was, which won't help much either.

On the plus side they are pushing forwards with growth, so there may be upside to come later in the year.

It's recently been sold down from 60p+ with scaremongering that the tax credits won't be paid. So can hardly call a slight recovery to 54p a spike!!

For me, this represents great long term value, especially with a shareprice this low.

Agreed on shareholder returns, however we also had the buy back which helped the shareprice for a while. Buybacks are best done slowly throughout the year, and continuous. Otherwise leads to a pump and dump situation which occurred.

If they could add another 10% of MPAT in buy backs to the shareholder return policy I'd be happy.

This was the lowest percentage returned in last 9 years albeit just within policy guidance.

I'm also very happy with the overall company performance.

Solid results, more or less what I expected. Well worth its premium rating against peers, with a lower discount to NAV.

Yes, it does seem like very good value here, despite the low oil price. The short term risk is certainly mitigated by the cap and collar they have in place on the oil price. Guarantees they will stay in profit while it's in place.

Strength of the dollar helping UK investors too. Should get a good conversion rate for the divi.

Anyway, thought it was time for a little top up this morning. Think I got in first!

Yeah, they tried very hard to stop this flying on results day because of the impact on their existing short. However, for me anything under £5 is extremely oversold and why I've kept buying slowly recently. Buying at this price is very likely to provide an annual yield of at least 10% for the next 5 years IMO. There is some risk, but bucket loads of opportunity too.
