It will be interesting if they keep the progressive dividend policy when interim divi declared. Some time to go though, and a lot can happen before then. Been one way since Southern took over as chair. She does always seem well supported by investors though.

There were no disclosed shorts when there was a potential offer. However, the mandatory disclosure forms uncovered a few that have been playing this. They sit under the disclosure limit IMO. The total over reaction every results day says it all.

Considering this is lightly traded on O trades, there have been swarms of A trades for years, non stop.

Luckily I decided enough was enough just over a week ago. I've seen this reaction to results every time recently. The shorters and algos are in control IMO. Whether there is substance to the total lack of trust and belief I just don't know.

It's a gamble. I've lost quite a bit, recovered dome on the recent rise to £1.80 where I reduced, and exited completely at £1.11. Trump presented too many gift horses and I needed more cash.

It's a gamble, spin the wheel and hold your breath.

That said, I'm potty enough to give it a try myself. Just waiting for what happens after hours tonight, and I'll decide tomorrow. If I've missed the boat, so be it.

Markets starting to recover, especially UK which has been oversold IMO anyway. Brent back to $68, so perhaps we've hit the low point in the shareprice.

Update and dividend declaration around 9th May, just over 2 weeks time. Will be interesting as production has been excellent.

Looks like the orange man is trashing the US stockmarket again today. Oil recovered nicely last Thursday, but is now falling again along with Dow and the US dollar.

So looks like I'll be topping up again tomorrow.

Managed to get a top up this morning a 32.39. Seems very good value given the recent update, but guess the oil price and dollar value is weighing on the oil sector. PTAL seem very well placed though to grow.

Asx nickei and hang seng all fell at start to reflect the late fall in London. After that they ALL have been stabilising and recovering.

FTSE futures up over 1%, Brent up today reflecting stability and some optimism.

Personally I see a stable and slightly up start here, but who knows what the afternoon will bring when north American markets open. I suspect they will also start recovering after a red day yesterday.

Looks like Trump is keeping his promise of lower oil prices by wrecking the world economy, including his own I must add.

We need oil to bounce back (as I believe it will), but somehow think we may be in for a rough few weeks before it does.

Nowhere to run though. Switching to cash too dangerous for me as I have a nice income, and you never know when the drop will reverse. Trump is so unpredictable.

I disagree. Part of the value of this company is it's intellectual capital in the field of renewable storage. I agree that we shouldn't go overboard with new projects, but we need a pipeline of work occurring with projects at different stages of the life cycle to maximise that IC.

Mind you the market doesn't seem to place any value on that right now or else we would not be at this huge discount to NAV. Very strange IMO. Assets that are built and operational have a premium value to the cost of building new infrastructure. Or they should have!

Well, the buyers of HEIT obviously thought it was an excellent investment at almost full NAV. So every reason to believe we are the same. So we should see a considerable closing of the gap between NAV and shareprice in the next year, even moving into a premium perhaps.

Lots of games to be played here inthe meantime as those in control of the shareprice try to rob us!
