I would not be happy if they stopped their progressive dividend policy. There has been no warning of such a major move, after such a long established expectation.

It may be fine if you're just in this for a few weeks. Success is a rather longer period in my eyes.

TBH I consider that the bad news had already been more than factored int before the fall to 65p. This has a long way to run IMO although it obviously won't be straight up. If you're lucky enough to sell before a dip, then well done. You'll also need to time the buy back in right too!

I have sold above the quoted ask before and bought below the quoted bid. Even more so for after hours trades.

If Liontrust want to exit they should contact the company to see if they want to buy the lot. Will be far more efficient than a buy back scheme.

I imagine they would jump at the chance.

Mind you, loads of income paying stocks have insane valuations right now. Everyone seems to be looking to make a quick buck. PTAL is more a long term play at these levels IMO.

Stas, don't get fixated on buys and sells. You honestly can't tell what's a buy from the market, and what's a sell. The markers are just guides based on mid point and often wrong. Two of my purchases today got recorded as "sells".

At the end of the day I trust myself that there is great value when I do buy, and very willing to hold as long as necessary to turn a decent profit.

The progressive dividend policy here, is the one outstanding thing that attracts me. I believe they will do their utmost to keep that going. I'm also hoping that at the interim report we'll get some reassurance about the dividend policy.

If Octopus want to buy more, they will be holding it down with algos waiting for traders to capitulate. That's all the 'A' trades IMO. It's being played as it has been for years. Patience will be rewarded IMO. The drop in profits don't equate to a 10 fold decrease in the share price. Revenue is down, but not by a lot since the SDL acquisition.

Looks like they soaked up the Liontrust reduction. Crossed threshold on Friday.

Someone buying. A large trade printed late at 63.6p drove the price up until 4.13pm.

Possibly something known!

Half year report in June. Not expecting any more updates until then, except perhaps more director purchases.

Will be topping up slowly over the next month and I'll stop if it goes back over my short term target.

I have also just dipped a toe back in here. As I've said its a gamble, but upside does appear to more than upside now.

I'm not getting excited yet though. My next purchase will be under 55p, if we get there.
