Ten fridays before year end, hopefully Orph can deliver some good news for shareholders in that timeline to end the year on a high.
Be interesting to see what the posters on here feel will have the greater effect for Orphs share price.
The spin out announcement of DIM? Or The publication of the Covid Characterisation studies results?
Both obviously very positive for Orph. Personally I can't wait to get some DIM shares, they have always been the unearthed gem here in mine and many others opinions. That human challenge trials data is very, very unique and with that means it is very very valuable to the right buyers.
Listening to Cathal from one of his last presentations it looks like they have flushed out the business model for DIM now. It won't just be to the wearable companies but to Pharma and other applications also. A larger target market, an absolute diamond "product". on paper DIM looks to be a very special company and hopefully it won't be too long in the distant future before we get them...
You are of course completely right BC. Endless cycle. It's a shame LSE don't moderate these boards more to stamp out frequent posters who post misinformation and abuse. Both are now filtered from me, you know they are getting desperate when they have to start making up things and trying to defame over posters.
Like you I suggest the posters on the board just filters them from now on and starve them of the attention they crave. Hopefully we can get back to speaking about Open Orphan again very soon....
I think we would all much prefer that.
Yes you can always trust someone who has multiple anonymous accounts..... can't you JimBeann Aka Bronxville.
Personally I've always thought it was interesting you and Mr Earache use the same term "blarney".
That's not a common word you see or hear much... another allias perhaps?
Wouldn't surprise me....
VeryhappyBunny, you will notice no response from those two...
And to actually say this really speaks volumes.
"Bunny asking Ryan is on a par with Joe Kennedy getting a tip from the proverbial Shoe Shine Boy."
They really do think they are a class above when actually they are actually the most clueless posters on this board. Shoe shine boy?! Really?! What era do you think this is? Will you tell me next that women should not be able to invest as they have smaller brains?! Absolute cretins, get with the times.
I'll give you a proper answer tomorrow, as I believe it deserves something better, then off the top of my head and I will have to do a bit of looking into previous posts to answer.
Elric, don't disagree with you regarding everything has its price, obviously if an absurd offer came through Cathal will snatch it and rightly so. The original stratagey here was a quick fix and a sale, but reading between the lines, Cathal moving his family to London, Looking for a merger I can't see it happening any time soon. I agree 100% it makes Orph a leaner prospect to sell by getting all the spinouts off loaded. The real question is in the current climate is anyone looking to take Orph on? Possibly not.
Cathal is a serious business man, and knows Orph better then all of us, I don't know why his judgement is questioned considering he knows the ins and out of the business. He possesses inside knowledge that we could only hope to have and he is buying heavily. That should say all to the market. The guy is the largest shareholder and has the knowledge. Let that sink in. If the least you know is to follow the money, it's clear in my opinion.
Ryan - "I have never bought 40p+ let alone even 32p+." Another big lie where I've previously quoted your posts but, strangely enough, a lot of your posts have now disappeared.
Shut up you muppet.
I think I would know the prices I've bought at earache. There's a reason you can't find those posts and to make up some fantasy about a cleansing is ridiculous. Those posts don't exist because they were never written. That's why you can't find them.
And as for the quote of one of my posts at 39.50 you will see im sceptical and cautious suggesting a re-think once 38p support is broken. Thank you for backing me up on that with that quote. Not just a ramper am I huh?!
You have nothing to apologise for VeryHappyBunny.
Thank you for asking something relevant!
In my opinion I don't think Cathal will sell the business before next summer. I think he is in for the long run now. A merger is on the horizon so that we can get Orph on the Nasdaq. I've always said I don't see Orph being sold off until at least 2023, but even now I would be willing to bet 2024 or later. The team at Orph are building a good business, the market is heading in the right direction, the spin outs will offer more shareholder value. There's only positives to look forward to in my opinion. Orph has recieved no negative news as of yet. Just delays down to the government ethics review. Brighter days definitely ahead in terms of the business and hopefully the share price will follow that once the market sorts itself out.
Oh give it a rest bear666.
It was you who started this inflammatory board about Cathal. Not me. If you don't like being told what's what, you will have to suck that up as well.
To call me nit picker after you created this sorry excuse for a thread is hypocrisy at its finest. You claim Cathal hijacked the polb presentation. You know damn well the host of that asked Cathal to be more involved. Directing questions to him. Cathal didn't just jump In as you would like to make out.
Why don't you stop trying to spin negative narratives all the time and just sit down and make yourself a cup of tea, eyy big guy.
Not aimed at you VeryHappyBunny.
You have been a welcome fresh air on this billboard. Someone who has come to establish the facts and has asked reasonable questions.
Not like these other ****roaches who everyone has had to stomach over the last few months.
The truth really lies in that the people who continue to bring up Cathal, really having nothing better to talk about. You don't offer any real contribution to the board. You just sit there and lazily **** the CEO off because its easy to do.
I would be willing to bet you are the same kind of people to abuse young professional footballers anonymously on twitter after they have a bad game... Sad, Sad, Sad people.
Why don't you drop Cathal an email if you are soo concerned. Rather then anonymously ranting on a billboard. No doubt you don't have the cojones, to do that.
As I said in my first post. Suck it up or sell. We don't wanna hear about your obsession with Cathal every fecking day.
"You know Ryan said the same thing when the share price was 40p."
What did exactly did I say Jimmy? Enlighten me. Go through my posting history and tell me. You guys get more and more desperate everytime to try to make me out as some wild ramper buying at 40p+.
I hate to break it to you, but it's just not true. I have never bought 40p+ let alone even 32p+. The narratives you try to spin are tedious. It's exactly like that time when you had told me I had invested in POLX and lost loads of money.
Well that was news to me because I had never even mentioned the stock or ever invested in it.
False claims appear to be your fortè. It's a shame your still not very good at it though isn't it.
Clearly a distraction for you and the others who continue to bring Cathal up every single day....
If you don't like the CEO. You will just have to put up with it or sell your shares. He is the majority shareholder after all. Him and the team have grown this company from IPO 4x at current price.
There doing a great job, given the size of the team.
Just requires patience, instead of the endless moaning about Cathal that gets enlisted on to here.
The points been made a million times, Cathal is an excitable guy. He is not changing. Get over it.
WG- I've got my suspicions he is either referring to DIM spinout or Merger announcement (there was something about cathal in a meeting in Geneva a few presentations ago that stuck with me). I'll try and find it.
Moni- That's the paradox of the virus. If it is too effective at killing it can not spread and therefore can't reproduce.
Pretty horrifying when you actually think about it.
These undead strains of protein hunting life down to hijack cells, replicate and eventually burst your cells to infect others.
Apologies to those eating their lunch....
No virus can ever be truly "over". They mutate very quick. Just as we have seen with the many different variants. There's no knowing if the variants we have today, that our vaccine is effective against, will be the same variants we fight tommorow.
A viruses one purpose is to reproduce and kill. These are not "living" cells like bacteria. You can not "kill" a virus because viruses by nature are already dead. You can certainly stop infection and reproduction, and treat symptoms of infection though.
Perhaps the coronavirus we encounter today is getting less prevalent, but you can bet that it is currently trying to find the perfect mutation to by-pass our current vaccines. When it does let's hope we aren't too far behind its tracks with another vaccine to take the current ones place.
It is truly an endless fight, that is fact. Viruses are here to stay forever and humanity will have to continue to try to fight them.
