I have a question, do we actually know the expenses breakdown of our whale clients, and how much they can save by signing an Ingenuity deal? Ideally as a percentage of GMV.

I know we have different Ingenuity options, so let's break those down too. Going from simple server hosting solutions all the way through to picking products.

I just don't see how 1% covers it unless you're only talking about server hosting. If you have a full product picking solution, surely its more like 5% to 10%? You know, wages, rent, equipment is more than 1% of GMV?!

Surely ASOS and Boohoo would love to automate their picking...? And on a pay-per-pick basis...? Makes their costs more certain and if the economy suddenly tanks and they can't shift product, it doesn't matter because they're on a pay-per-pick model. They don't have to worry about overhiring and then subsequent severance packages. It's almost certainly cheaper to automate than rely on workers to pick anyway...

Those Autostore robots won't complain about factory conditions like those Boohoo staff will. Imagine if THG Ingenuity is the reason for a huge rerate for all 3, THG, ASOS and Boohoo. Maybe I'm wrong about Ingenuity, I hope so!
