Oxford, we've been here for a long time. I remember when we were trading at 170p and got excited when it got to 230p. It feels like it's been an eternity. I agree with you, may as well ride this next wave out and finally see all the pain we've been through be worth something. I'll be here to the bitter end. I have a feeling 2023 will finally be a good year for us.

Oxford, I definitely think Apollo have been given some "preliminary results" before making the bid. Why would they submit a bid 1 day before results? Surely it makes more sense to do it after? Unless they know something we don't...?

Tbh, whether results are good or bad tomorrow, we still have an offer on the table. The results wouldn't make a difference if the group get bought out anyway.

But good results may bring other bidders to the table whilst the price is low.

The number of good outcomes massively outweighs the number of bad outcomes here.

Why on earth would the bid be 60p which would be below the trading price before all of this?

They know the board rejected 170p so will likely end up above that after a bit of back and forth.

If the divisions are separate legal entities and the results are shown by division, I expect bids to come in at these valuations.

Only question for me would be, if nutrition is valued at say 1x sales, does that boost the value of the other divisions too? Not sure. Next thing will be trying to figure out how that should affect the whole THG share price.

Legal separation realistically will only impact if/when THG publicly lists the three divisions separately.

They could have separated the results regardless of the legal separation or not. So yes, hopefully now they have done so. I'd be very surprised and disappointed if they haven't on Tuesday.
