Fred, its up to you. The market makers will often hunt stop losses at the start of the day to generate liquidity, then shoot the price back up.
The extra protection you gain from putting a stop loss comes with the risk that you get stopped out and miss out on extra gains.
I personally find it a flawed strategy, but plenty make it work. I know what I want to sell my shares for (£2+), so I won't have the market makers steal that from me because I was scared of the price going down.
