RE: THG shares have become mouldy21 Nov 2024 07:17
We have to take things into perspective here.
Yes they're late.
Yes they haven't communicated to the market.
Yes they choose poor language in the RNS.
The shorts have taken full advantage of this because in reality, they know that THG are actively trying to improve the SP. It's almost like one last drop before we can recover. You see it on so many shares where it hits a double bottom then goes on to make a monster recovery.
THG isn't going bankrupt, they just raised £100m.
The institutions who participated in the placing are no mugs.
TGL sunk £250k at 45p.
I said when the demerger happened that the shorts will go into overdrive. You have Steve posting here at 6.30am every day, PMH posting till 10pm. I'm sure they've done very well shorting this but also feel their time of being able to short to this degree is coming to the end, what with the FTSE 250 inclusion and simplification of the PLC.
The RNS stated you can take as much Ingenuity as you'd like (although there must be a maximum given low Ingenuity equity value), so just do that if you think it's being stolen from you. People have asked their individual brokers whether they can do this through their isa and all seem to say the shares will be held outside your isa wrapper. I know tax implications but we are where we are.
Anyway, it's often the darkest before the light. Chin up, we might have a good day today.
