I see a lot of comparisons to PFC, the financial issues PFC had were much more severe and it seemed they didn't do anything to stop the rot. Wood selling assets and introducing cost cutting measures now should allow them to weather the storm, but ultimately it's down to management to perform (or resign and let someone else have a go).

Cheers Mike, just wish I was forward looking last year to see that MM would rinse RemainCo and saddle it with debt before stealing Ingenuity for £25m.

Yorek, they haven't completely closed every short. Wood group shows 0.10%, Wizz Air shows 0.04%.

They have gone on a massive short closing spree though, so maybe they think the beaten down UK shares are about to turn? Maybe large interest rate cuts on the way?

Either way, the fact they have closed THG short to 0% is encouraging.

Well remembered Cong, I did. I would have stayed in longer had MM just accepted what Apollo had on offer, I only managed to get out because Oke helpfully told us all that the bid had fallen through. Yes I came back for more, but this was before MM showed his true colours of essentially making it undesirable for private investors to go into Ingenuity. Had I known what he planned to do, and the behaviour he showed only in the past few months, yes I would have steered clear, wouldn't have you? Remember we're sat at 40p, does that suggest a different financial beast to you?

Kbyk, no I didn't as I couldn't (I'm not the only one). That partly explains my frustration, but the other part is that it went private when it didn't need to. Besides, do any of us really want to be holding a private company? I would have lost all my tax advantage.

No external valuation, no valuation matching anywhere near Apollo valuation, no motion put to shareholders to agree or disagree, MM and cronies saw an opportunity and took it. Is that a board that looks after all shareholder interests? No.

I could go to JP Jenkins and try and pick some up, but honestly I don't want to have any more money tied into something MM is massively involved in, ever again.

Quite right pin, but is MM eyeing up Selkirk for him to "give up" control but really we will have another bunch of puppets/muppets doing nothing but singing his praises and allowing the company to be run in MM's best interests, not shareholders (DESPITE IT NOT BEING HIS COMPANY ANYMORE?!). Really unbelievable how this played out. So many lessons learnt, don't touch anything that has had MM and Iain Mc's greasy paws over it. Add in John Goold to the mix as well, it all stinks.

As Oke said, Moulding stealing 50% Ingenuity for effectively £12.5m was never in shareholders best interests, yet the board (including Matt himself) have allowed this. Iain Mc got his grubby little fingers over it too with his comment "gone all in on Ingenuity".

The saving grace is that Matt still has 10% RemainCo share, so him being the greedy runt he is, I'm sure there will be some sort of action which boosts the SP from here. We are nothing but a pawn in the games the big boys play, and the board have failed to protect our interests.

I wish there was a situation where we won and Matt lost, but sadly don't think that'll be the case.
