KRSS, Please answer this. Why on earth would General Nice offer anything near that price when they can buy them in the market if they wanted them. General Nice are not even paying the interest they owe so not much chance of them buying the shares. IRC need to get their act together, start making good profit reducing their debt and the share price will follow. If it ever gets near the general Nice subscription price they may be enticed to buy the shares they have committed to buy. But, they will not throw good money after bad. ( My opinion only )

I think we have more chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding by on Shergar than General Nice fully subscribing. Personal opinion only.

Agreement has yet been reached with ICBC, both IRC and Petropavlovsk are pursuing a number of options to ensure the continued good standing of the ICBC Facility. These options include our previously announced discussions regarding the full refinancing of the ICBC facility with a leading Russian lender, which are now well progressed. The Company is also exploring a potential short-term advance to IRC to fund a portion of the June debt obligations if necessary. The primary objective of these discussions, as well as our pursuit of other options to ensure the continued good standing of the ICBC Facility, is to protect the value of our investment in IRC in the interests of all of Petropavlovsk's stakeholders.

Quindel was QPP there was a lot of fraud and they were accused of " building on quick sand" round about the same time as Edelveiss appeared.

If ( in the unlikely event ) IRC went bankrupt we would not only lost our 30% stake we would be liable for the balance. It could bankrupt us ( unlikely ) but possible. Best case is it is renegotiated, IRC get into profit, share price rises it raised extra money and we are freed from the guarantee. And to thinK some people want Hambro back whos sprog is running IRC ???

They need to show, that they have steered this ship in the right direction and not a shipwreck. Too many false dawns has lost the respect of shareholders and customers alike.

Kenj Hambro openly said that the company was looking to reduce production and focus on better grade ore, until the pox hub was completed. I would expect them to ramp up production once this up and running. There is also the chance to process other companies gold at a profit to us ( if we have spare capacity ) once finished we will no longer have the costs of building it as it will be finished so no reason to suggest we will not have a very good chance of repaying first bond and then making large inroads with the second bond maturity. If the above happens the company will be a much stronger company.
