Lawrence13, I have to admit I am with Contrarian on this one. I can not see for the light of me, why someone would resign on the basis of something which happened later anyway. There must have been other things. AND, its not the first time he has gone. I would prefer him back in the midst, with his experience, but NOT if he is just going to throw the rattle out of his pram every time things don't go his way. Why if that was the reason he resigned did he not advise then. Time for all at POG to step up and focus on what is important. POG.

Minutes of a meeting rarely if ever represent 100% of what is said. Reason is quite simple. Someone normally has the job of taking notes and they then decide what is relevant and what is not and the depth they should go into each subject. Sometimes things are said that quick the scribe can not take the notes quick enough, I really do not think this should be a major thing to debate, as we did the re-financing .

Altered the minutes ??? so they did not put EVERYTHING that was said. We did do the bond issue AFTER Pavel had gone. Now if they were saying it had been proposed to do a bond issue, they altered the minutes then DIDNT do it, that might be something to talk about, All this talk of Renova. The company has supplied a list of buyers. I don't know what more they can do.

Don't always believe that sells are sells. Market makers are able to move price up and down and this can sometimes "hide" whether a large trade has been a buy or a sell. But always remember if their are sellers, there have to be buyers and vice versa. IRC has to be sorted soon and we are not far away from the testing of the pox hub with plenty of gold sitting there waiting to be processed. We will also be in a position to process other peoples gold on either a 50/50 split or them paying us for the privilige. Opens up a lot of doors. Plenty to look forward to if they get it right.

They are happy to send these in paper to all shareholders ( no doubt at additioanal cost ) if you want a proper vote and your shares are help in nominee you will need to speak to your broker. If you are still in the dark ages in certificated format and request things on paper you should get a proper vote.

Sothic considers the so-called activist attempt by CABS and Slevin as being contrary to good corporate governance and one which could jeopardise the significant value potential of Petropavlovsk.

People keep saying the bod have been quiet. Very little difference from previous BOD except they don't tell us every little detail about IRC as they have already alluded to the fact they would like to get rid of it. Their strategy seems to be the right one at this time.
