whoosh....
We just have to hope that this is all part of a carefully thought out plan that MVR have been working on for months, that they already have pre-agreed agreements with big names to buy these shares and invest in MVR/Napster and that they have been working on how they will turn around Napsters falling numbers, monetise their own shows and get theatre subscritions going.
its either that or this is a desperate last throw of the dice, death or glory last hurrah!
its going to be an interesting few months hopefully.
Totally agree, if the performer are not natural raconteurs then some preparations should be made beforehand to help them fill the gaps between the 7 or so songs. It does show up the lack of experience with production in the company.
Saying that the majority of the performers I've seen were perfectly capable of filling the time, so lets hope its a lesson learned by MVR.
Nope, but demotions should be handed out for regurgitating old mockups that have been around for years.
Hang around for a couple more years here and you will no doubt get to see them again.
I initially went with "Johnny come latelies" but then decided to update my idiom to be more contemporary version, befitting to a 21st century tech message board.
Just wait until these noobs realise that Adele "May" have owned some shares once, they will wet their knickers.
Lordfont, you missed off the MVR definition.
Soon (MVR): an unspecified period of time with no relation to real time. e.g. the 2nd coming will happen soon. West Ham will win the champions league soon. MVR glasses will be released soon (1+ year), MVR will soon move into other markets (2+ year).
Its feeling like an old fashioned pump and dump at the moment, we've not had one of those for a while. They were a regular occurrence a couple of years ago.
Hopeful to be proved wrong.
If they leave ISAs untouched!
Hark! I hear the plaintive cry of the greater spotted MelodyVR bird.
This unremarkable creature can often be heard over the summer months desperately shouting its shrill repetitive call "news, news, news" not knowing that its mate is on its annual migration to a luxury yacht in the Caribbean.
Don't feel guilty, you're in the same boat at 95% of PI's who've bought MVR.
Its the stock that keeps on taking,
but you know, one day Rodney we'll be millionaires!
Welcome to the wonderful world of MVR, If ever there was an advert for not investing in AIM shares this is it.
A couple more years of this and we'll all end up as cynical and Jaded as Horse.
To be fair to Horse, over the years he has been consistent in his wants from MVR and it has been that the sp rise and stick. Nothing else really matters to him and to be honest unless you have an emotional attachment to the business and as an investor here I don't think he is totally wrong.
When the sp here finally gets back into and remains in the teens then i am sure that he will fall in with the happy clappers and stop moaning (though I still expect an occasional "it took long enough" to appear from him).
And lets not forget ADVERTISING revenue.
At the moment the venue is immaterial as there is no audience. Filming at the O2 with 20,000 seats would be pointless and whilst empty its also a soulless arena. The Brixton Academy looks great even when empty and will add texture to those that want to use the full 360 experience.
Seeing as there are no other gigs in town at the moment its possible/probable that big names will have to 'lower' themselves to Brixton if they want to earn any live gig money.
Plus I think that 10k tickets is a little pessimistic for Europe and America alone much less the rest of the world when the app is released.
Well over the last 3 years they have made a damn sight more money out of this share than the hold and waiters.
The Sell on news brigade.
Lets hope that there is a constant stream of updates over the coming weeks that stop them buying back in.
And there is the news I was hoping to hear, something to bolster a success .
Its nice not to have the usual slide into silence like previous years.
'Sit back!' some of the LTH here have been invested in MVR for 4+ years. If they sit back much longer they are likely to be unable to get back up.
Lady Leshurr best performance I've caught so far. Filled the space full of energy and great fun lyrics
