that deserves a lol.
'Aitch'!
If they do another cash raise/dilution before the autumn & release of the new app then that's me done, I'll sell up no matter what the price.
I almost tried to sell yesterday when it came close to 4p, I really wish I had now.
I'm tired of this company and this board.
From memory he posted he had sold most of his shares prior to the RTO being announced. But the price was probably still higher than it is now. His been in mvrh before me and that was pre oculus go. So I don't blame him for cutting and running I'm considering doing the same if it ever reaches 4.5p again. 4 years is long enough.
Almost back to where we were a month ago, lets see if it slowly slides back down again with another prolonged period of no news or if I manage to see myself in profit for the 1st time since July last year.
Ignore him londondan, the opening line of TheBadBat's 1st ever post tells you everything you need to know about his opinion on this share or any other.
"This is my first post, my first ever investment (5k @ 8p). I’ve been following the post and trades now for months. "
He's out of his depth and underwater and looking for any lifeline.
A year ago I was contemplating selling half my MVR shares and buying DEV @ 1.25.
I'd be handing in my notice this week if I had.
Never mind there is always tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...........
Heading back towards 2's again without news, oh well another chance to 'lower my average'.
Will soon have a lower average than some posters IQ's.
My theory is that JG wants MVR to be in addition to the theatre not instead, He wants shows booked out for months ahead and then MVR to pick up the money from those that cannot get to the theatre or afford those tickets. If during lockdown he was to stream a show and this was watched by potential theatre goers because they had no other option then those people are unlikely to buy theatre tickets when they reopen.
Careful now londondan, don't annoy the happy clapper brigade they don't like any light of truth to fall on their mushrooms of hope.
I agree with you almost 100%, the VR app is clunky to navigate to find out new content and 180 degrees would be fine, I also feel no need to see the pixelated faces of people in the crowd especially at the expense of picture quality. The only thing I don't agree with is the quality itself, I only bought the GO and don't use it enough to warrant upgrading to a quest but I did compare the quality of MVR's 360 against other 360 outputs and I could spot no difference. Maybe this is more noticeable on the quest 2.
I invested here in 2017 as I saw the product as a great way for the vast money created by gigs to be accessed and increased and have been disappointed by the very slow progress (though Covid hasn't helped). I'm also disappointed that the LG gig became available to watch online and stayed up for so long as I believe that the only way that 2d gigs will work is if the streams stay secure and people have to pay to watch them rather than just wait for a pirated stream. This is one advantage VR has as it should be much more difficult to pirate a copy and be able to watch it.
Hopefully the napster rto will enable MVR to build a better VR product, though I am dubious if they will be able to take on Apple, Amazon & Spotify at their own game but I live in hope.
So now that the RNS has confirmed that Robidicus' guess was far closer to the mark than the ridiculous estimates of the morons who abused him. I expect that they will come on and apologise to him for being a bunch of mouthy know nothing c***s.
It would seem that at best the numbers fell into the OK bracket on my for the number of LG tickets sold.
"Personally this is how I would view the figures.
1-20,000 = poor
25,001 - 75,000 = Ok
75,001 - 150,000 = Great
150,001+ = Amazing"
Great news, lets hope it monetises better than the O2 partnership.
My fear is that once the share hits 4.3 for the 29th it'll all go quiet again but for now I'll raise a pre-xmas glass in celebration.
Now this is the worst evidence I've seen for the one off 'live' gigs business model so far, if they cannot keep their streams protected from piracy then whats the point.
Maybe we'll buy a new kettle from Amazon.
1. Sour Grapes
2. I want to Break free - Queen
3. Down Down (deeper and Down) - Status Quo
As the show was on 3 times over different time zones and after so much publicity I would hope that we hit more than 10,000 sales.
Personally this is how I would view the figures.
1-20,000 = poor
25,001 - 75,000 = Ok
75,001 - 150,000 = Great
150,001+ = Amazing
Hope, there was a similar clammer on here at the same time last year.
Personally I think the LG gig was a final test of the possible public interest in online gigs. Everything was thrown at it and now MVR, Live nation etc. will be analysing the figures to see if the model is viable for making money going forward. If so then I expect more to be rolled out over the next 3-6 months. If not..............
Well done you, you have proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that you are far superior to us in everyway. I can only dream of the levels of contentment you must feel from just knowing that you are you, it must be magnificent.
I do hope that you will stay around so that we may all bask in your glory
#Filtered no3
yes KOK thats exactly who I thought it was as well. He's the only person I've ever filtered on this board (though I've been tempted recently) but I'll make this tedious dick my second.
yes Maxdba I agree there are lower hanging fruit to try to steal from but the constant talk here is not of mopping up the dregs but being one of if not the biggest and that means toppling spotify.
