Old Skool Vorderman for me :-)
I am very positive about this share and can see things are being done 'properly', unlike so many others on AIM. I was just voicing my frustration that AIM seems to erode a share without much cause.
This is a long term hold for me so like knowing the management is implementing a plan and it is paying off.
Thanks - will know for next time. Here and elsewhere.
Same here. How do you lodge your vote if you hold an ISA in HL?
Has anyone heard anything from the FRG?
Mali has one of the largest UN troop deployments to combat the instability in the North from Islamic militants. The announcement a couple of weeks ago that the British Army is contributing a specialist Long Range Patrol Group will not have gone unnoticed. Africa is a difficult place to get stable investments recognised at the best of times, never mind with this as a factor.
I'm aware the small number of shares in circulation mean the share price is easily swayed but why sell now on the eve of news? I am holding (bravely or foolishly) to hear what the update brings. Like many others, I'm taking comfort from the CFO buying into this when it was possible. If it goes wrong then I won't have lost as much as some.
This is annoying. The erosion of a fantastic share. Is there any chance the sp will recover enough and the BoD be persuaded to move off AIM. Or, this is taken over. Only problem with that is none of the Big 6 seemingly want to invest in selling gas and electric as it's too heavily regulated.
It's nice having the patience to stick it out. It would be nice to get good news soon and be able to top slice, leaving enough for a free ride.
It's just hard to see where the next bit of good news will come from. Was the rise of last week driven purely by the rise in gold price?
It's quiet everywhere??
Almost all of the BBs I look in on are stagnant today. Must be something to with the weather.
Sitting tight here though. If the figures pan out the way the company have predicted, this should recover well. The big boys in the industry are all carrying heavy commitments and aren't able to diversify or respond quickly. They are all looking for other opportunities to generate income from what in their opinion is an over-regulated market
I don't know much about the whys and wherefore's of share price movement but I reckon this is being kept low because despite the fairly frequent updates, there has not been a statement like 'with this discovery, we will be earning £xxM by 20XX'.
Without this type of firm statement of an actual income, people will move their money elsewhere.
imho that is... GLA
