C7 the 140k is a delayed sell from 11.19

There could be a multitude of reasons or quite often it is standard practice.

I think this is the fourth time sclp has appointed a joint broker since I have been here.

Tf, correct, however the previous rns had that line followed with trials starting in half 1 2021.

They have now removed that line.

They have actually changed the wording about the modi1 trial.

They no longer say it will start trials in first half of 2021

Ab, I agree entirely, but why would you sit on the same price for hours on end instead of slightly adjusting the price to test the appetite?

Therefore keeping the volume which would In turn earn the mm’s more commission?

Ab, I neither wanted to buy or sell today.

My frustration lies with the mm’s blatant effort to kill the volume yet again.

We were doing superbly on both the amount of trades and volume of trades and they stopped it !

How is that an open and fair market for either buyers or sellers?

Ab, they do change the auto buy/sell limits once they have adjusted the price, however they seem content on leaving the restrictions in place needlessly for hours on end and then adjust the price and auto volumes at the same time.

My point is that I feel it is unnecessary to hold the volumes for hours on end until the market makers have balanced their books and once the get enough buys in/or sells. Then adjust it to what they need !

Ab, I Agree with your post to a certain degree, however my problem is that for an orderly market, sells are necessary to service the buys.

If you cut off the supply then there is no way to buy.

We had the reverse situation three days ago when everyone was buying and then the mm’s stopped the buying whilst allowing big sells - all it did was stop the trading and interest.

Now we have the reverse and the mm’s have stopped the selling and all it has done is killed all interest again.

My point is that you need a fluid market at whatever price someone is willing to buy or sell.
We need the buys to feed the sells and we need the sells to feed the buys.

Otherwise it comes across as rigged in everyone’s favour apart from ours ?

They sure know how to kill trading volumes and interest !

Well, the market makers have increased the sell limits by 100%, you can now sell a maximum of 20 shares (£2)
As opposed to the the previous sell restriction of 10 shares (£1)

Lol, been doing dummy buys and sells all day and started off with maximum 150k share sell, then down to 100k, then 30k. And the most you can sell now is 10 shares worth under £1

Hi c7, hope you are well, not having a go, but just curious as to how you can see an extra £36k profit this week with only 210k shares?

I work it out very roughly as a minimum of 19.5p x 210k shares = £40950
And today’s closing price of 22.5p x 210k shares = £47250

Which equates to an extra £6300. Which is roughly £30k less than your calculation.

23.7 trades are buys

Already a quarter of the volume and a quarter of the trades in the first 40 minutes compared to the whole of yesterday.

Should be an interesting day !

Looks like the market makers are loading up for the next leg up !
