Quite strange sky news continues to compare this new strain to the alpha(Kent) variant and then goes on to say that 99% of all cases in the uk are the delta(India) variant ?

Indian health officials doubt the nation can maintain the pace of vaccinating people against this new strain that has reportedly more transmissibility than former strains.

This is for the foreseeable future going to be an ongoing story unfortunately.
