Newboy except for when it goes up! Looks like there’s support around this area for Bitcoin anyway so I’m expecting back into the 50’s tommorrow. That US stimulus package should have an short lived effect on the market and when everyone realises we are playing with nothing more than made up numbers a lot of it will flow straight to Bitcoin anyway. Definitely mate, it’s set up a nice little rally and I hope some LTH are getting a chance to recoup some losses off the back of it!
I was beginning to think the US stimulus wasn’t going to happen but as you say it does sound like it’s still going ahead,although I also see it being an anti climax event aswell.
JayK I’m glad you guys see it the same as me as sometimes I really do question myself, it feels like the scene from the ‘big short’ where they are getting margin calls and thinking they have called it so wrong( maybe we have) but it just seems so false at the minute!

I’ve had Barclays block my card today after I was struggling to transfer funds. Rung me asking if I knew what I was doing with my money buying crypto. I said I’m invested in the app itself aswell as buying crypto. Cheeky twats! Paying me nothing on my savings!

I would think so Asefton, the beauty is that investors will start to try catch the swings so today you could sell at 49 numerous times and buy back at 45k ish a good 3 or 4 times easily, I’m thinking days like today would provide an annual revenue of around £20M. Take a look at ARB revenues...

If we take a guess that 10% of users today have altered their position on Bitcoin with either a buy or sell, average holding/purchase of say £1000? Could be more, 6000 users x 10 (1% of 1000)=£60,000 commission or am I being to optimistic? I think these figures are very plausible and probably on the reserved side?

Does Barclays block transfers to mode? It’s not letting me deposit which is a shame because mode itself was a piece of cake to set up. And I’ve missed a nice entry of 45 on Bitcoin

£4K up to £4K down in a day, those pesky MM’s! I’m happy enough for btc to form some support around $48k though as it needs something to settle at after such a huge run.

Fair points and I did think something similar, however I came to the conclusion, we have all been caught with our pants down in the stock market and we still come back to try again don’t we, we rarely ever give it up because of volatility, in fact the opposite, next time you think I can capitalise on these swings and accumulate, thus beginning traders(or wannabes like myself)
