Nuri123, I appreciate your post and I understand inflation is usually good news for a stimulated economy However I see things different, this level of inflation that is coming will be hyper inflation, raising interest rates is years away IMO.
If it wasn’t for an unprecedented amount of Q/E for furlough Barclays wouldn’t be where it is right now. The high street will never be the same again and when furlough ends unemployment will sky rocket imo. Far to many buisness’s have learned to cut staff and run on minimal work force and some even without a workplace,
We really have not seen the damage ‘Covid’ has done.

Well I’ve opened a short now the stimulus news is out the way.Might lose a little before hand but I think when the correction comes it should play out well. As ever I will have to keep a very close eye on it.

Jono, I understand your disappointment. Sorry to say that I think that’s what allowed me to get back in at such a price (68p) I’m sure you will be pleasantly surprised with a game changing acquisition this year aswell as organic growth.
JSE will be a £1B company within the next two years imo.

Totally agree, luckily I’m not short at present but I think your correction is coming. Probably a big rally Monday and then reality setting in after that. If this makes this to £2 when it couldn’t pre covid it just shows how false the markets are.

All I can think of is it’s a big furlough bubble.Propped up by furlough wages, and a lot seems to be finding it’s way directly back into the stock market inflating the bubble further, it all seems so false to me. I can see why things like Bitcoin are going from strength to strength to be honest, at least it’s capped at 21M coins and can’t just create more at the click of a button.

Well maybe I don’t understand the market as well as others but I honestly don’t understand how this share price is where it is and why the bullishness. The only reason why anything turned a profit this year is due to unprecedented printing of money propping everything up yet the market is acting like Barclays is in as good as position as it was pre Covid (dec2019)when paying a better dividend, and had a nothing of the exposure to bad debts that are there now. How long can we keep printing money while people sit at home? The inflation is going to be spectacular if nothing else. I’m waiting for 175 now and then I’m opening a short, this is just ridiculous now IMO. But quite clearly I don’t know much because I thought 155 was a major resistance a few weeks ago!

I honestly think we must be doing around £1M a month revenue even now. Not sure if I’m being to optimistic though, let’s get this super app launched and advertised all over socials

Barcs still bucking any bear pressure recently, I have a feeling the steam is starting to run out though,today was a big day today with ftse and Dow and it didn’t regain recent highs. Tommorrow could be a very decisive day on which way this is heading, any more weakness and an sp nearer 155 and things could drop further,
Same goes for a March on up to 165 could set the trend to push higher.
