Sky news say ‘R’ rate is rising here and Swiss government just delayed lifting all restrictions, governments are puppets and they are not in control, this is starting to look very questionable. Lockdowns in Italy and Paris and Germany next.

Crazy and very sinister times imo.

I actually think the buy back was well timed for investors, it’s really offered support to the share price especially this morning.
General economic outlook looking questionable with Italy and France both going back into lockdowns and Germany hinting at it aswell. I’m totally against lockdowns and think it’s very dangerous for people to accept these as a way of life going forward so I hope that isn’t the case and we can all get back to the real normal.

Barcs is waiting for the Dow to give it permission to move again, as ever it’s black or red at the minute but just my opinion is the constant flow of positive news over the last couple of weeks is running out and it’s time the market looked at the here and now, printing money to prop up a false economy is not growth.

Barcs just seems to follow the Dow, and the Dow only seems to go up, Which all seems very false to me. I have family in America and they are saying the price of everything is just going through the roof, the wages and employment isn’t there to match it though.

Down to 68. Always painful not catching the bottom and having to erode your paper loss before seeing profit but I’ve seen how this moves and it could jump 10p within minutes. Really excited about this holding

Not to be trusted, it sounds like they are hinting at moving the goal posts again, obviously it’s the EU’s fault, typical media tactics to create division. (Maybe so we spend money here instead of holidaying in the EU) The truth is they are very reluctant to give us our freedoms back and we should all be paying very close attention.
At the very earliest the economy will be back open by q2, but that won’t happen imo, “Data not dates” is the new slogan that tells you all you need to know,and with furlough already extended until September it’s pretty nailed on to move the goal posts again if you ask me.

US had another strong day though so that’s all that matters to mr market!

Please don’t invest on my advice, TLW could fly from here, I’m just saying I would sleep easier with pmo now we have been through all the pain.

Pmo is now the investment and TLW is now the higher geared but short term riskier play with better returns. I bought tlw at 145-155 but sold. With T.A and oil looking like it may pull back here a bit I have a buy order set at 28p, with a bit of luck it might get filled.
I would have to say PMO myself as it could still do 100% from here in the right enviroment but is relatively safe now.

Totally agree, we have the funds now and even though the super app may not quite be ready we need to get the advertising underway ASAP. Once people get used to an app and get a feel for it they tend to stick with it, I know I do anyway.

I would just like to add I would love to be long barcs as I did from 135 but I wouldn’t be long on barcs anything over 150p in this climate. I don’t look for shorts and actually barcs is the only stock I have a go at it on, I just see a major correction due across the US markets and here to a lesser extent. We will see what comes of the feds meetings today, probably give everyome another $1000 each and light the markets up again for me :-)

Notatrader , thanks for your advice and I totally agree with taking profits and spending them, if you have followed my posts of the last couple of months you will see that I openly post about my positions and regularly lock in profits before getting to greedy.
As for your concern about my shorts being ablaze, I have done this many times and I’m well aware of the risksinvolved, although I like to think you message was meant with good intent.

Very few people declare their position when on the wrong side of a trade, I don’t mind admitting when it looks like I’ve called it wrong. Although I did openly state when I opened the short I won’t be surprised to see this go up a little more before coming back, 185 was a lot more than I was intending though I must admit.

I will keep a close eye on my position as I always do but IMO there literally can’t be any upside left in this share price so that’s why I’m relatively relaxed about my position. As ever the market can really have a mind of its own so I could be wrong.

I suppose that’s where our views differ, why would defaults decrease when furlough is withdrawn? Imo they will only go up from here with unemployment.Yes spending will surge very temporarily, but depending on vaccine passports or ID cards, if they go that route then there’s no way that normality will return and buisness’s will be crippled.
With regards to mortgages and loans, we really didn’t learn anything from 2008. I suppose my confusion isn’t with the potential catalysts for growth it is with the current share price and why every good possible outcome is priced in like this will never happen again,or won’t leave any scars for years to come.
