Hey forseti did you hold your shares. If you did you have been well rewarded. I've held for some 10 years and up over 1200%. What i love about jdg is the lack of volatility and drama. They just go about their business brilliantly. Surprised there aren't more posts.
Need to start a chat here. Bought in first thing this morning and timing couldn't have been better.
Long time since i visited this board as too painful. The 12% rise peaked my interest a little but regrettably i would need another 2 digits in front of that 12 to break even. Nursing a five figure loss but learnt a painful lesson to not get carried away on a single stock. Since then i have stuck to a maximum investment figure per stock and this has worked out extremely well. Have more than recovered the loss on this and well in profit now. Any new investors take heed and good luck to you all who have recently invested here.
I bought these years ago at almost £1 a share and have been nursing a sizeable loss. Have always had hope for the science (maybe more than belief). Invested again just before the rise and absolutely delighted to be nearly at break even. Sometimes patience does pay off and hopefully the company goes on to achieve great things.
Just wondered if any other SXX holders here. I am a lth of both SXX and RENE so you can guess i am praying for a miracle here. As it is i stand to lose just as much here. I won't complain as i knew the risks involved but i do hope RENE succeed as much for the patients involved as for myself.
Good to hear all ur positive reactions. Can't understand why people sell at this low point. You have to trust the companies your'e invested in (unless of course you own patisserie valerie). Would add myself but funds not available.
Bit of a freefall here. Should we be worried.
MF have a sell recommendation on this - "after more than three years of closely following Amerisur, I have become less convinced over time that the company could fulfil its potential. Whether the fault of management or otherwise, Amerisur’s missed targets and underperformance have become a recurring feature, and it has become clear that the company faces an uphill struggle to create value for shareholders in the long run." Hugely disappointing share for me but will probably hold for now.
I pay no heed to Deutsche Bank targets. You only have to look at their ridiculous targets over the years with Ashtead. Had i followed their advice i would be tens of thousands worse off.
UBS had a sell recommendation back in January 2017 with a target of £14 so maybe we should sit tight.
Ftsemajor and dubious do you have a link to the ML comments.
This from Equity Development - Kromek is pioneering digital colour imaging for x- and gamma rays, using cadmium zinc telluride crystals. Key markets include medical imaging, homeland security and nuclear detection. Recently the Turkish police, only after acting on a tip-off, managed to thwart a potentially heinous plan to sell 1.4kg of radioactive material (worth 49m) on the black market. Which is exactly why the US Department of Defense (DoD) has committed to develop an early warning system for the detection of dirty bombs. Here Kromek has already shipped >10,000 D3Ss to the DoD - and in March won another $1.6m contract to further enhance its state-of-the-art technology. The hope being ultimately to roll-out the device across 20+ US cities (each worth $10m+), along with securing similar orders in other geographies (eg Europe). Encouragingly too, the company is hitting its numbers. Saying this morning that trading for the 12 months ended April 2018, had been in line with expectations - achieving EBITDA breakeven (Act -311k H1 vs ED 300k H2) on top of positive revenue growth (ED 12.5m; Act 4.8m H1 vs ED 7.7m H2). Kromek also continues to gain traction across all its business segments and expects further growth in FY19. As such, we make no change either to our numbers or 37p/share valuation.
We have flatlined - rene and the bb - anyone got a defibrillator. Stuck with this stock for many years in the hope that it lived up to the promise and made me some money. I really would like to think that the science will work out otherwise does anyone know of a possible 5 bagger.
Great rise today and nice to see so much blue at these levels.
Have just invested here. Positive write up by interactive investor's Alistair Strang - "Symphony Environmental (SYM)'s share price movements are interesting in a fairly positive way. What's of special interest are its near term potentials as above 26.5p should prove capable of a lift to an initial 30p. Secondary, if bettered, calculates at a longer term 40p. For now though, we rather like it and suspect a longer term 40p shall prove viable for those blessed with patience."
