I don't believe the shareholdings are up to date. I looked at another company where there has been a recent large transaction and the figures though dated today do not reflect the movements.

Agree that this is "hardly going to make or break the company" but hardly a sop to shareholders when we can now buy the shares for less than the offer price.

So, just over 80% take up from qualifying participants on the additional shares. Disappointing. The board must have been expecting a greater level of enthusiasm for this. Presumably, in the short term, this will not do the share price any favours?

Williamsburg & Bonzob, EUA's financial year ends 31st December so from a company perspective whether any announcement is in the next few days or later in April is immaterial. For the company it will be the same tax year.

I think MJS94 (10:19) and Tigra (11:10) comments are very close to the mark and I'm hoping we haven't got long to wait now. I would have thought a further 2.9 wouldn't be required if the share capital hadn't changed. Was the share capital posted on the website the same as the December 2.9?

Hi VS et al, I (age 66) had my first covid jab yesterday in South Hampshire. It was very smooth and efficient and the only side effect to date is a sore arm which is only noticeable when attempting to sleep on that side! Would have been good to celebrate with a pint, but that will have to wait. My brother, in Devon, who is a couple of years younger than me is having his first jab tomorrow so it appears this is one area where good progress is being made. GLA with GGP and vaccination.

RIP Sir Tom. On the question of pneumonia, the NHS offers you a once in a lifetime jab once you get to 65 but I'm not sure how many versions it covers. Poor Sir Tom caught pneumonia first so they couldn't give him the Covid jab.

Davies101 - Not sure what is a relevant timeframe with EUA as it seems to be going on a bit longer than we would have liked. Couldn’t see it being less than 2 weeks after 2.9 so this seems as good a time as any and I’d like it this year.

Yes, Ciminna. On the few occasions that it's happened to shares I've been holding the selling price will rise to slightly below the offer price, so you have the choice of selling straight away at that price which may move slightly over the following days or waiting for the final settlement or the possibility of a counter offer.

Depends on your circumstances and size of withdrawals but in my case I've already got pensions and am using the SIPP for top ups so I find the uncystalised lump sum approach useful.

Mr Brian - depending on how and when you wish to draw cash from SIPP you can start with Uncrystalised Lump Sums. This avoids the upper limit being capped at point of drawdown and all growth above the capp being taxable. Very useful if you plan to carry on growing the SIPP. From each uncrystalised lump sum 25% is tax free and the balance will be taxed at your applicable rate.
