Its mid-september - weren't we expecting some news ?

Help please ! Just checking as I'm a little confused.
Is de-ramping in the hope of getting more shares at a cheaper price the same as 'shorting' ?
I might be doing both !

BG - why on earth is our ready-built gas processing plant under-used ?
It should be pumping gas 24/7.
Is the problem a pipeline? 5" s/s flexible flue liner costs £20/metre inc delivery.
That'll do in the short-term surely?

You've never quite understood Tanz - it's not that I'm hoping Aminex will fail.
It is the preposterous optimism expressed by you and many others here that I find unhelpful - it's what Alan Greenspan termed 'irrational exuberance'.
If Aminex does fail, the most likely cause would be insufficient gas found to be commercially viable, and/or the gas could not be brought to market for a cost that would produce an acceptable profit.

The Markets are flying today BG - not that Aminex has noticed.

I'm not alone BG - the Market can't see any elephants in the room either...

The problem with your approach is (of course) that investment choices do not always 'come up trumps', and 'winning in the end' is far from inevitable.
I do agree that it is very satisfying if a loss-making investment comes good and moves into profit.
As for patience - poor old Tanz (and others here) has been patiently waiting and hoping to get his stake back for 20 years or more. He's still waiting...

LTHs are not in any way 'superior' to or 'more honorable' than Day Traders Tanz.
We're all here trying to make a few quid - the vast majority of us failing spectacularly.

When Tanz first invested his hard-earned (when the SP was about 20p), 5 shares could have bought him a couple of pints in the Bedford pub in Balham.
Those 5 shares are now worth 5p - not enough for a picked onion.

Why did it go to 7p though?
Principally because of the euphoria engendered by a few (err) "optimistic" individuals.
If it was due to substance (eg drill results) surely a SP somewhere near 7p would have been maintained?
Even 3p ? Not years languishing below 1p ?
I'm out if it gets anywhere near 4p.
