You are quoting these figures HY but where did you get them from? Please supply a link so we may read them for ourselves or provide a page number for the farm out prospectus that many of us still hold copies of. It was monstrous document so please at least back up what you are saying or point us to it.

I remember the document took hours to read so as you state you are none invested party I am surprised you took such interest and as far as I am aware that document only went out to shareholders.

From my point of view Gary, I don't have an exit. This will be my pension to draw as and when I like. I have a couple of specific aims in life which I will want sums out for, but that will be it. The rest I will transfer into some sort of trust for the great grandchildren. Need to figure out the best tax efficient way for that yet.

At least we agree on the base figures though I do think there is potentially large headroom over the 5p, but that will depend whether you are here for a short sharp smash and grab or taking the long term view of when this field is fully developed.

The conflict comes when short termers do not recognise that which you call "the jungle of religious fervor" I speak from my position as an "Investor" not a "trader" so always looking at long term value. The old saying is worth remembering. do not judge me until you walk a mile in my shoes.

My age means I will likely take my personal prize before the FFD is fully complete, but my great grandchildren will hopefully be left a nice number of shares here for them to enjoy the full benefits

I was questioning your motives based on what I have read of your previous contributions here. It's really that simple. I've been here many years and seen people come and go and I take notes of the timing of when they come and go. Along with still having a pretty good memory I tend to spot quite easily those playing games.

You either have trust in those reports or you don't, yes we may disagree with their findings but to praise them as professional one day and to call them out as unprofessional on another when it suits it's not a good look.

As for you trying to turn this into a character assassination I find that quite sad.

As it happens, my opinion is that 2 to 2.5p is where we should be when the licence drops and the plans are made public and I don't think for one moment that Shard would value 25% of a gas field larger than UK reserves at 2.5p. Do you?

If it keeps rising like this, I don't think that will be out of the question. The size of the field certainly justifies it imo.
