So FlipFlop Joe continues spreading his lies and misinformation.
No discovery he says
No flow to surface naturally he says
This rig working expert has no clue about what Reverse Circulation is or achieves. He thinks it acts as a mechanical pumps to lift the gas when all it does is remove the drilling debris from the well depressurising the hole and allowing any gasses to flow freely. (Like unblocking a drain pressure is released)
Re Sclumberger
[Well Completions]
"To circulate fluid down the wellbore annulus, with returns being made up the tubing string. Reverse circulation is often used to remove debris from the wellbore since the high fluid flow rate inside the tubing string enables the recovery of large or dense debris particles that are difficult or impossible to remove with conventional circulation."
Synonyms: back wash, reversing out
Following the above clean up...
"The well successfully flowed a high concentration of helium to the surface from the basement at a measured concentration up to 4.7% helium.
Hydrogen also flowed to the surface during basement testing at a concentration of 2.2% hydrogen over 37,000 times above background levels"
LB "flowing helium to surface in such high concentrations is a huge milestone for the company and we will now fully evaluate these results and focus on advancing this project in the most effective way possible; one that will aim to achieve commerciality at the earliest opportunity."
Details:
"When performing the basement DST, high concentrations of helium began to flow to surface following reverse circulation and yielded a compositional mix up to 4.7% helium 1.5% argon 8% oxygen and 86% nitrogen"
Note: The word "FOLLOWING" the RC was used and NOT during!
Of course, to Joe all the above means SFA has been discovered and Helium isn't flowing naturally. π
Imo he is a complete and utter fake (wannabe influencer) who has sadly convinced so many to join his little group thinking he is the font of all drilling knowledge.
The above research (not my words or opinion) prove otherwise. You trust him if you want too, but I don't.
More than distrust, I don't like deliberate liars
