The RNS being the Janet and John style communication some require when the above has been clearly communicated in both writing and in interview and through wider press releases dobe under the scrutiny of the Nomad.

I can't answer for Noble, nobody on here can so that question is for them to answer.

What we do know is that HE1 learned from Tai3 and Noble who were not able to test for some reason. What Lorna did was to bring in the equipment and specialist field laboratory to conduct the tests.

She spoke of extended well tests, going back into Tai3 and 'other options'

The carbon free element as Lorna portrayed is a point against the oil theory, but the fact as she said they are now having to look at it with a different mind set opens the thought process. The next RNS should reveal more and no point arguing when both sources are possible. I just like to keep an open mind

Bothering to carry out such expensive tests would infer to me that they discovered something worth testing. Clear in my view backed up by the results provided so far at 4.7% Helium.

Afterall you wouldn't test what is not there to test unless you just foolishly like wasting scarce money.

I wouldn't say a red herring as it is does appear a fact microbial does create hydrogen in depleted oil reservoirs. In fact your article does refer to microbial.

I am no expert here but we are looking at two different scenarios and I am merely posing the question. What ai do know from the study you refer to is that it was fone in a subsea environment which the Rukwa basin is not.

As said, no red herring just a possibility that people should have an open mind about, especially when not comparing eggs with eggs.

They clearly indicate 20MMbbls of that condensate is recoverable and at those 2021 $66/barrel prices worth $1.32 Billion Dollars

As there has yet been no oil found in the country then we could hazard a guess that this is being generated in a depleted oil reservoir? If that is the case, then where is the oil? Where did it migrate too? Could it be found in one of the faults? It makes sense to think it maybe still somewhere in the region but whether it is or not, Hydrogen is still very valuable.

Edgar, I just remember when speaking to Jay.B at an AGM before he left where he said that condensate was valuable. When I saw those figures this morning I thought that is a lot, so researched the value and bingo.

I can't remember if any potential condensate figures were previously posted by Aminex but these from APT perked up my interest for sure.

I never realised it held such high value. Who needs gas when there is that much value in the condensate alone? Not only has the gas numbers improved but the whole project appears to have become a monster, let alone a sleeping giant.

Roll on that development licence and let's get this baby monetised.

Cricket there is no reason for you to be attacked over your view on the timing of an RNS. It is just an opinion the same as those saying it will be yesterday.

Nobody knows and so yes there is an element of hope being expressed. There is nothing wrong with that imo although I agree with you I don't personally expect one for a few weeks.

As for Lorna's smile and obvious excitement, if you cannot see the body language in the whole interview then I am not sure you are judging character very well. If you compare it to the interview around Christmas when she brought us bad news you can quickly see she is a girl that wears her heart on her sleeve. She is very excited at the find, yes she still has to prove up the numbers for us, but she is the expert in the field and we are not.

Condensate is hardly ever mention, but it is an extremely valuable commodity. It could be argued that because of the amount of previously estimated gas (8tcf) the mean in place GIIP which has now been doubled to 16.4tcf has taken all the headlines but condensate has rarely been discussed on this board.

I think we miss a major positive here which can be seen the APT 3D Seismic report published on Thursday with a risked estimate of 55.2MMbls of condensate.

This rig working expert has no clue about what Reverse Circulation is or achieves. He thinks it acts as a mechanical pumps to lift the gas when all it does is remove the drilling debris from the well depressurising the hole and allowing any gasses to flow freely. I think this 3D should have been a catalyst but yes we could argue lack of news has been a big issue and people have moved attention elsewhere.

In saying that it is only a month ago we had the GSA with promise of Dev licence soon which also should have been a catalyst. Now the 3D results come and still no real SP action so let's hope that news process continues in order to generate some more interest.

I asked you to pinpoint wgat you think would be the real kick off because two lots of good news in quick succession and we are still lower than before the gsa news broke.
