From information gathered via HeliumOne RNSs and interview, plus last weeks Noble presentation and a copy of an online tutorial about DST stem testing, I have now satisfied myself that there is no stimulation taking place during Reverse Circulation.

While he may know how to put one in the ground, it is clear our drilling friend does not understand how the DST tool operates. The only stimulation taking place is at the end of the test to remove any remaining formation fluids or gases from the tool before it is retrieved. That is not a flow test!

In very simple terms, the various components of the tool both seal the hole and act like hydraulic system to allow fluids or gases to flow through the tool into sample chambers and to the surface up through the drill pipe.

Thanks to the chap that posted the video link this morning I have now transcribed the entire contents of the tutorial and will put it up after spell checking in the morning for all to see.

What it does prove is why our drilling friend refused to answer my question and the fact that his insistence that there is no free flow because it was stimulated is now proven to be totally false information.

Is not misinformation with intent to deceive a banning offence on this site?

I wouldn't recommend reporting because he will only come again as someone else as he proved when he got a few days in the sin bin recently. So Mr FlipFlop drill rig expert HaHaHa. You've been rumbled and people will know the truth!

I have to admit his insistence was causing me some concern over my investment which is why I had to check the validity of his shouty aggressive claims. If this ear bashing BS was giving a fully confident person like me cause for concern, then what must that do to people new to investing and people who have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever? God help those that have followed him into his echo chamber thinking he is a rig guru!

I am now fully confident Helium flowed to surface without stimulation.

I still advise others to do their own research, but I will post my findings as said in the morning

As well as telling what information will have been gained, the tutorial also explains that further analysis takes place at the surface after the tests are complete, so for those with no patience for a detailed lab report. They are most likely not yet ready to be provided and the independent onsite lab has, as has been officially stated that concentrations are well in excess of what is required for a commercial well. The details are being analysed as could be expected and will no doubt come asap.

Anybody interested allowing the value of their holding to increase would do well to continue on this thread and not allow it to be buried by the undoubted deramping noise that will try to bury it.

Mad English I 100% agree about not using such titles and put your view forward myself many times. However in the need for an answer to my question I fell into the trap.

Did the well stimulation come from dropping one of his blue pills down the well because on his own RC explanation it did not come from that action as he had been claiming. 🤔

Ok Joe I accept this part, it is broadly what I have referred too all along

The problem is this still doesn't give me the answer to why you claimed there is no gas flowing and what there was, was only there because the RC stimulated it.

So exactly how does the RC stimulate it, if as they say the gas flowed FOLLOWING the RC?

LOTM yes that is exactly what I am suggesting and I am losing the will to live just trying to get an answer.

Solstace pasted the full schlumberger glossary page on the subject which I have done umpteen times.

Part 1 refers to drilling

Joe stated himself tonight they were not doing that

Part 2 refers to completion which is the part I have been referring too. Part 2 is about clean up it shows no indication of stimulating anything other than moving debris from the hole. There is no mention of it stimulating gas and I do not accept the clearing of any blockage as a stimulation.

If it is not part 1 as he stated and part 2 is not for that purpose, then I am asking for an explanation why he thinks there is stimulation going on and how is that being achieved. It is not unreasonable to ask when Noble indicated we had both gas in fluid AND flowing gas. Our RNS stated gas flowed FOLLOWING the RC it did not say during so logically I am right in thinking once the RC was completed the gas was able to flow freely.

Joe has insisted there is no free flowing gas only stimulated gas when that is not what both Noble and HE1 have indicated.

If I am wrong I want to understand why because no amount of searching is giving me that answer. It always comes back to the same terms that Schlumberger are using and until I get an answer then I will continue to believe the the two companies I've a man that wont support his claim. If he knows how then he should be able to support it with a believable answer.

That leaves part 2 as I have consistently pointed too.

All I want from him is to support his claim of well stimulation to get the gas out.

Clean up is done by RC yes? That much I know from Schlumberger.

Please explain where the stimulation you claim is coming from? I seriously see no stimulation all.

How does that then explain their claim to have different concentrations throughout the well as the well was depressurising?

These are serious questions so if you have the real knowledge then talk to us and stop shouting at us in such an aggressive manner.

He should also know the difference between open hole testing and perforated testing and the types of testing that are done. It doesn't appear he does

LW perhaps if you listen closely to the Noble presentation you might pick up as I have that it is most likely a combination as you ponder.

Add to that, some research over how over the geothermal heat 80c depressurises Helium and how these gasses move along fault lines in for want of better terms under ground rivers, you might find it helpful.

In his Janet and John book style he is absolutely 100% however he does ignore the fact that they have stated they are making plans to commercialise asap so the choice to be negative or positive on that is up to the individual. The fact it is 4.7% clearly shows the flow is at more than commercial concentration levels, so imo there is good reason to feel positive. Reality will come out in the wash and not just because this fella is determined to make everyone run a mile buying a share. Perhaps if he shut up the five days of banging the same drum or five minutes, people wouldn't feel the need to counter his nonsense. It might also prevent him having a heart attack

Taking a wild guess because no reservoir has been mentioned it would not be a total surprise to me to hear they have tapped right into and underground migration system. UNIQUE and change of MINDSET has to make the mind boggle about what they do mean so it's all speculation. We just have to wait for the figures and the way forward, but I am eager to know just like everyone else.

Deltalo They have certainly hit something very exciting but no mention of a conventional reservoir I'm afraid. It is clearly unique which is why they are altering their mindset. With both Helium Exsolving from fluids AND flowing freely in the open hole, they didn't even need to perforate to see the gas come to surface once the hole has been depressurised by removing the drill debris.

As the well depressurised the measured concentrations got bigger

We simply have to wait to see what sort of system they have tapped into. There is certainly much internal excitement and every reason to be excited here too imo. Good luck

Artificial stimulation my aris. I can't believe people are letting him get away this crap. He is the rig expert and doesn't understand the basic use of Reverse Circulation which is to clear out well debris. If a well is blocked, you clear it out to allow the gas or fluids to flow freely. That is not stimulation, a pump or an injection is stimulation. What an eejit! He is trying to infer it needed pumping out when the wording in the RNS stipulated it was Flowing FOLLOWING the RC NOT during! There is one hell of a difference!

I think he needs a good laxative to get rid of the carp he keeps feeding people. Must be at least half dozen times I have linked to the Schlumberger site over this since last Thursday. He is clearly a Fake in my eyes and with his continued pushing of that misinformation shows it! To people who haven't done their research please do and before taking anything from him ascertain exactly what his role is when on a rig. After all they do employ tea boys and toilet cleaners who might pick up the odd snippets from the rough necks
