LW thank you for pointing out the error of my ways. It was not BS hype but a genuine thought process and workable position.

The problem for me was that I had not picked up on the 'Conditional' as you clearly have, so my mistake apologies to all.

It appears from the following that my options could not now come into play until afterwards.

Would you agree with me that having an off taker to fund development down the line would be better than a JV or what would you prefer to see?

Detalo. I've been having the debate with Crusty and he's no fool and I wouldn't knock his views because his points are valid, but I do agree about the market being slow on the uptake on the possibilities here.

Tbh as proved with the demands made in here over the last two weeks nothing was ever sufficient to make them happy. Mainly I think because most on here are traders rather than investors. Many don't have the ability to realise they are stuck in a paradigm and that can make them blind to opportunities that are clear as day to me. The day traders for certain miss it because they are content with a few % quick trades and today is all that matters. Thats all they are interested in.

Crusty I was posing the point to LW I do realise you are more risk averse than me but I am saying what I would do as a CEO in that position.

I don't know but what you might be failing to take into account is these off takers have been in the background for a number of years and they will understand the relevance of these results far more than we do. They will get access to the data room and they have the expertise to understand if it is just bluster or not. I know as well as you that PIs believe nothing until its in a Janet and John book, but big business does grow by thinking outside the box and getting one step ahead if its competitors. I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just saying it is a realistic option.

You are a banker and if I had an asset worth £5m surely at the right interest rate you would be willing to loan me £2m against that asset or whatever the % against the loan banks look at these days.

If I were a CEO of a top tier off taker business, then based on the figure provided today, and, if those figures were clearly demonstrated to me; then based on the potential $60 million plus per annum at those rates alone, then I would be recommending to my board to bid to provide an initial loan to complete the EWS (probably would be no more than 2million anyway) with the promises of further funding in order to ensure continuation of supply for an agreed period should the tests prove up as expected.

Why would I not want to secure supply when a competitor may step in with a similar offer if I don't?

Risking £2m to gain an annual turn over of £60m plus is a better risk reward play than any of us shareholders will ever see.

Even you take bigger risks than all be it perhaps at a lower scale. The risk reward for them is minimal when it can be a loan against the assets. Everything to gain and little to lose. Imo.

Yes ultimately it will all be about the numbers but for me a loan from an off-taker repayable form the sales of the gas to them is different from a donated fund that allows them to get the gas at a lower rate.

I am talking of a straight loan paid back over a period. The mechanics surely don't have to mean a dilution in that way. Just the same as a bank loan or a mortgage, you borrow, you pay back interest until its paid back then once its paid back, it no longer deducting from your profits. Very simple model to me that does not dilute shareholders whereas the other options we both know from hard knock experience does.

The benefit in this model is HE1 get the funding Shareholders not diluted and the best loan on offer gets to be the off taker.

I think HE1 are in a powerful position especially if they can get the extended well test done with current funds. I'd need to research the cost of that, but they have their own rig and I don't think it is a big job perhaps a week ten day ish I'll look into it when time permits, see what I can find. Anyway I'm hungry need to eat

Hi Lotm actually I am far more aware of what is being said than you might think. I have met a lot of con merchants in my time and had my fair share of being burned by dodgy CEOs in the past. When I do read I also make a point of trying to read between the lines.

While I accept some of the things he was saying were true. I never challenged him on those; that's not what I do. While I will apologise if I get thing wrong and I do sometimes all I see from this ID is arrogance and aggression when he is proven wrong and it has been that way since the moment he arrived here.

However if he anybody uses bare faced lies either alone or in amongst some plausible truths and I suspect that to be the case, I will challenge it and especially if it is about skill areas I have knowledge of.

I really don't care if people want to trade and make a few bob, that's their business, but when they lie they are attempting to steal from my pocket and others do need to be made aware of those lies especially if they are being taken in by a long time player

Crusty if it is to be a JV I think you may be right, but watching an early presentation by the company chairman last night from back in 2020 he was hinting there were already preliminary talks with the three big off take players.

Anyway currently my money is on the Off taker providing some funds as a way of buying into future profits. If the big three are interested then they will be bidding for the action imo and if Lorna plays her cards right, we could be sitting pretty. again we have to wait and see, but like you my dry powder is waiting for the right moment yet to be decided. JS Even I recognise he is not a complete idiot, he does know something about rig work, even if he has only read about it, but he comes across to me if he is genuine, as somebody on the straight labouring side with a very little knowledge of how the equipment he actually operates as he clearly showed over his stimulation and no flowing claims.

He mocked me for stating I was an engineer because he was spouting rubbish pre Christmas over the mechanical breakdown of the rig at Tai. He knows just enough to be dangerous imo to both fellow rig workers and shareholders.

He's certainly not been near a rig in the last six months or more and recruitment for the drilling industry is struggling, certainly Offshore. This guy is day trading full time and probably been doing so in the O&G industry for years

Crusty without doubt we all know funds will be required by the third Qtr to complete the works heavy described although it might be possible to carry out the extended test with current funds. They have just raised 4.7 million. Anyhow the heavy work is at least four months away and with them talking to interested parties there may well be a funding solution via that route as we discussed the other day, could be a JV or an Off-Taker loan. I don't believe it is a short term worry and there is still the possibility of more uplifting news to come in between with the mapping out of the area, an estimated GIIP figure news on the interested parties etc if they do have to get one away it maybe much higher than it is now. We will have to wait and see but I have no immediate concern on that one..

I suggest you look back at my three part posts cover the tutorial for DST Stem testing. I posted early yesterday morning. You might then understand each test is carried out over hours, or days according to the well owners wishes. It isn't a quick two minute job as you seem to imply.

These tests are carried out in open hole conditions and they do obtain flow rates and pressures

An extended well test will be via perforating the casing and done as you described likely to be over a few days at each level. Just trying to clear up what might be confusing

The DST results from Itumbula West-1 well have demonstrated that the well has flowed the equivalent of 0.5 mmscfd of 4.7% helium (without any artificial lift) from the fractured Basement and faulted zone. These flow rates in a pure helium play, without the presence of hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide, indicate the uniqueness of this helium project.
