Crusty and you know I've been there in the distant passed. Investing is a bloody minefield and unless you get lucky it can be an extremely expensive apprenticeship that still does not guarantee big returns.

I wish I had your years of experience when I started but I guess even you still make mistakes. What I have learned most is the need to have an extra set of eyes in the back of my head to see what is sneaking up behind me. Trust nobody and study all the data and listen to my gut more often.

Vagga you said it yourself conditions change and after the last interview I debated with a few people on here about ways to fund the next physical move without a raise (its all in my post record) After that I was convinced there was no viable alternative to a raise before the next physical stage. Having been burned twice before and seeing the bashers already going to work, I sold. I have a great deal of my time invested here making sure facts are told and not BS designed to damage value.l and I was able to do that by personal knowledge and a lot of research. If people like my views it's because of the verifiable facts I've brought to the board. Am I suddenly supposed to stop telling the truth?

I'm sorry if you got spiked, I've been there on many occasions and it's but I saw where this was heading and I was right. I finally realised when spiked if it is going one way I need to sell and buy back later. I believe 100% in the project, but what I also know from past experience is wherever the price settles, the funders of this share demand a huge discount when funding a placing so it becomes a vicious spiral as I described when I sold.

You need to study my post record and you can go back to through last year to see I was wrong battling the inevitable raises that I could not see coming at the time. I paid that price, but not this time.

Hi treble, no, I was woodturning this morning and decided not to follow the rise before I left. I'm out because of fear of being caught again and tbh today went just the way I expected, it got pumped and dumped. It's still below my price so I'm ok. Was shocked coming home to see a high of 1.65 tbh but I'm going to stick with my gut feeling and hopefully don't get locked out. If I do, I have an equally good big fish to fry with 16tcf of gas awaiting the development licence due any day soon. This way my powder is dry and I can move quickly either way. First come first served and we know this is at least three months away. Hope you managed to make most of it.

The wording Joe was using recently about reporting a discovery come straight out of the TPDC Model Production Share Agreement. The basis of PSA agreements in the petroleum industry....

"ARTICLE 9: DISCOVERY, APPRAISAL AND DEVELOPMENT"

(a) If Petroleum is discovered in the Contract Area, Contractor shall:

(i) prior to notification to any third party forthwith notify TPDC which will thereafter notify the Commissioner;

(ii) within thirty (30) days after the date of such discovery provide TPDC and the Minister with all available information regarding the discovery, including a preliminary classification of the discovery as Crude Oil or Natural Gas to meet the requirements of Section 31(1) and 31(2) of the Act;"
