Yes pointless really.

Bridge its not about waiting for production, its not even about waiting for the test to begin.

It is about exactly where the next stage of that journey really begins and if we knew that, we could all be millionaires just on past events without the need to take risk

It seems odd to me that it has gone up looking at the trades over the last 50 minutes there hasn't been a buy above £1000 yet sells way above that are in the mid teens. One sell of £21k alone wiping out all the buys in that time. The only explanation I can think of would be a late reported deal or two. Maybe someone on L2 can see more?

Crusty I would take the raise now for two reasons.

1. It prevents the sp from slipping down further and reducing the ability to raise a large enough amount without destroying too much value.

2. Once it is out the way everybody can chill, knowing the project is funded to a place where partners can enter and provide the future funding.

The gamble for the company is do they have enough value appreciating news to come in the meantime that will lift it to a better place? I'm not sure they do hence my opinion.

The title of this thread is bang on. The prize does remain the same.

There are no right or wrong views on here at the moment.

The ramping element are repeating the positive facts and if you follow them and hold on to your shares it is highly likely you will see a good return.

On the other hand there are others warning of an almost inevitable raise coming before the tests and drilling can be carried out. What that means is that the price could go lower in the meantime. At whatever point the company were to make such raise they would need to offer the placees a discount which in the past we know has been hefty and that in itself usually lowers the price even further. The thing is, none of us know where that price will land and so we make our decisions. Effectively a gamble.

Do we sit with our Holdings underwater waiting for the big payday?

Do we buy now at what is a very good price compared to what it could be when that payday comes?

Do we sell, protecting what value we have with the thought that it may go down further allowing us to buy even more at the bottom price?

Or, if studying it as a new share, do we sit on our hands and wait without risk?

There are no rights and wrongs here and no need for animosity because the decisions are our own.

Only when we accept the whole of the information provided, can we or should we make our own fully informed decision. It is when we make a decisions based only on accepting the message that conforms with our own bias that it becomes dangerous and I should know because I have fallen into that trap on more than one occasion.

Mr Moi I disagree, if the news is significant enough, it will receive attention from the larger media outlets. I suggest the development licence being granted is such a significant breakthrough because it is the key to what follows, and a 16tcf gas field with enormous amounts of condensate that will transform Tanzania and its medium long term economy. I could put together a range of PR headlines myself to attract targeted market audiences either niche or main stream and I've done that many times for my own business but that is what good PR people would do and in my experience those London editors are not so daft as to think agencies from outside of London are not worth looking at. They are only interested in headlines that will create clickbait or sell more papers. The biggest obstacle to getting to your PR into the main stream is catching them on high profile news days. Need to be lucky and land on a slow news day, but even that can change in a blink of an eye.

I reckon they will do a good job, or at least I hope they will, they have got a chance to prove themselves so we should give them some credit for winning the contract. Let's face it, if the country boys won the contract over the London wide boys then they have done well to get this far if that is your thinking ;0)

Having been burned before that is my current position too Broker, but it doesn't change my long term view here. Once the funding has been made clear and the tests proved positive, then I see very little that could hold this back

@Broken where did I say "may all come good"? I am firmly in the belief it will come good and I fully support the CEO, I have every confidence in here and always have; sometimes to my own cost. If my belief proves wrong then so be it but I have stuck to my principles of telling the truth whichever way it falls. Meanwhile as news comes I will protect my assets the best I can as and when I feel necessary.

Though grateful for support, sadly having seen some of your recent contributions on this board I can't say that I have seen much balanced output from yourself as yet. Time will tell.

We all know they are talking to potential partners we all know that is what we want to see and have agreements reached yesterday, but what that sentence means is what it says, nothing more, nothing less. Effectively those talks will not progress until the conditions required are met! People must come to their own conclusions from there. It is their money and their own responsibility and they have to take that view with each piece of news that comes, good or bad.

I would suggest post it notes to remind her of all the details she must put forward is far better than rambling off the top of her head. To me that is a good sign that she has prepared herself for the interview. Perhaps you would prefer her to wing it?

I'm also not sure what is vague about what you quote? "The rig is currently hot stacked, ready for quick deployment, with operations planned as early as the third quarter of 2024." That seems clear enough to me.

Thanks for your support defo. I'm no expert at anything, I'm just B class duffer trying to survive in life. If the facts I research help others against the lies and drivel then fine, but if I am concerned by what they say, I research to prove whether these bullies are right or wrong. It is actually more important that I know when they are right than when they are wrong. If they are right, I know I need to take action. What I don't do is base my decisions on anyone's opinion. I have those for myself.

The DYOR is valid advise but I would add if you have ANY doubts somebody's word, then research even deeper for the truth.
