I can't comment on a rig manager or assistant remaining under contract but for maintenance, only a mechanic and a grease monkey would be needed. etc Correct me if wrong but that's how I read the communication. I certainly wouldn't want to be paying the day rates Joe talks of for a rig manager to be sat on his aris for 3 months. The other thing I was wondering is if they do become a cash shell the will they still be due the agreed totals as an when the ARA contract? Basically if the funds haven't become due before the company goes under then, there is surely nobody to pay. Only perhaps a liquidator who will likely take the lions share in fees as they often do.

Well JS that is exactly the opposite of what it shows when the leader of the gang comes here. If he behaved in a better way he might get listened too a little more, but he has behaved badly since the day he came on this board. Aggressive, nasty, downright ignorant and a proven liar too. Would be nice if a proper research group were set up with shared links to factual information that explains professionally how things work and why things need to happen. It might just steer people away from nonsense, opinion, boiler room behaviour and abusive posts on the bbs.

Factual information from independent reputable sources with no bias is what I look for.

Mj I'm wide open to the grammar police constantly and bit of mutual pee taking does no harm. It is time we had some juicy news to chew the fat over though and twice in one go the old injun is right. I know many will just poo poo the idea of manipulation and many say the tiny trades have no effect on the sp but at 14:07:45 a whole series of tiny trades came in that pushed the ask up with no foundation for the move. In the scheme of things at this level its perhaps meaningless, but I've noticed this a lot ever since the introduction of free trading sites just a few years back. Is it a coincidence or is it just me that thinks it coincides with prices not achieving what we might consider they should do. That can be the same the opposite too. Strange thing is you can sometimes see many trades worth thousands and tens of thousands which have no effect at all. I just find it odd and would love an explanation from the mms and market regulators. When it reacts so irrationally this way it surely must make it difficult for traders, or is it they that is attempting to manipulate for bigger trades 🤔
