my god this share gets ugly sometimes. Just when you think it's the start of a nice rise it bombs out ! Again !
The potential here is through the roof, I've never known a share like it as far as boom or bust prospects go. To calm my poor heart it would be nice to get a monthly rns update on how negotiations are going, but that's never going to happen (and would probably be detrimental anyway). I'll just keep taking the pills :-)
I just got back from holidays, I was hoping we'd have had an rns by now ! There's been some big transactions this last 2 weeks. Someone's offloaded 14million shares a few days back at 1.25p, and I think that's the reason the sp has been held back this last week, as there has been a lot of buys, including someone paying 1.7p for over £50k worth, if people are willing to pay 1.7p then the sp should be higher, you'd think.
I'm not buying all the talk about the agm, i wish i could have gone but don't have enough shares to warrant it. But I can't see afg having any shares to sell, they aren't an investment company after all, and the only talk i've come across re afg and shares is the rns stating the bod would look favourably on a request by afg to have their £1m fee converted to shares. And no body on this site has quoted anything said at the agm.
I'm still hoping this will come good though, it's a great sign nobody gets paid until the deal gets done, although "this side of summer" has definately passed and an update would be nice.
long, so what did he say, i thought the controversy was about false invoices ?
thanks richie, i couldn't find that date anywhere.
richie, do you know the actual deadline date that afg has to complete the deal by to get their 1m ?
long, what tells you it's afg selling shares ? The only talk i've heard re afg and shares is the bod stating they would look favourably at a request by afg to turn the fee into shares but no promises made. I'm not critisising, just curious
"particularly at this crucial stage" better mean something !
i'm gonna change my username to "kiss of death" ;-(
one sale first thing, then the price jumps with no more trades, looks like they're filling an order.
Here's hoping afg earn their million soon !
Does anyone know what the actual date of the deadline for AFG is ? Because I'm guessing that might have a bearing on the sp a little !!!! So far I heard september, which in my book is anything from 31st Aug to 1st Oct.
I don't think this is it (happened too many times before to pin my hopes on it) but I envisage this is how we see the news coming. Leaky aim. It's how I came to the conclusion nothing was going to be revealed at the agm... no 20% rises every day beforehand lol !
It's nearly the end of the month, maybe someone on a t20 looking to get in before the september deadline for afg ? Total speculation on my part, but despite all the noise about afg they are still tasked with bringing this in for a million.
thanks richie, your input is hugely appreciated here. There can't be many forums out there with a 10% holder sharing their thoughts. As you say you pays your money, gla !
who cares about some invoices ? I mean how much can they be for really, and this is Afrika ! I'm more bothered about how close they are to a deal and would love specifics on that. I want to know what "dialogues with the velosos has never been so strong" means exactly. I'm fairly sure most people could get pretty much any deal done in 1-3 months, so it'd be great to know what stage we're at and what we're waiting for.
Richie, what was said about the third party interest from the companies that have been to inspect the asset ? Are they miners or banks ?
Richieboy; What was the mood like, were the bod upbeat or defensive ?
Well on the plus side all the warrants and options are pretty worthless at sub 1p / share when you're sat on a billion dollar beach ! It worried me at first when SR-B resigned so close to the deal of his lifetime, but he got 7.5m options, so it's not like he walked away thinking "this'll never happen, i'm off !", I'm guessing he only left if he could get his share, which I'm more than fine with. All parties involved need a share and as Richie has previously emphasised no-one gets paid if there is no deal, not even salaries as that is all defered. I'm still positive despite this drifting to the basement.
It's either all off for another few years (In which case we should have had an RNS), or we're in the very last stages, if it's not done already (Again, RNSable). I think they will have thrown everything at it to get it done for the AGM, It's going to be very awkward if not ! AFG have been on the case since Feb, so 5 months, with only a month or so to go till they lose the $1m fee and the other interested parties have been out to MOZ since around April time (my guesswork) to assess the asset. There should be a lot to say !
For anyone with school age kids summer starts now, so maybe that is what was meant by this side of summer ? Either way they are due to release info and I wish they would do it today / Monday rather than at the agm.
Oh, and I would imagine you can't just rock up and demand a positive RNS, you'll probably need a ticket. Let me know how you go on because I'll probably go myself. If you struggle, try contacting their advisors.
Hi. Look at the final results RNS on pathfinders site dated 28th June. It's one of the last points, so easy to miss:
5. Annual General Meeting
The annual general meeting of the Company will be held at 11.00 a.m. on 23 July 2019 at Becket House, 36 Old Jewry, London, EC2R 8DD.
I doubt they've been in MOZ. AFG is doing the negotiating (until e/o sept) and they get $1m if all is signed and sealed and zero if not. I would assume the board, or a representative, would only go out to sign a deal, in which case we'd have an RNS by now.
There are other parties (plural) interested in the asset that are out there (or have been). These are described as prospective funders, so in all likelihood are companies in the same game looking to farm in on the asset. I don't think the board would go out to meet them either, as I'm sure they would be geologists rather than negotiators.
The last update was 27th June when all was rosy, so lets hope things are even rosier on Tuesday, but I wouldn't worry if they're out there or not, and I would imagine the first we'll hear is in an RNS.
AGM is on Tuesday, anyone going ? My best case scenario is a nice RNS update on Friday or Monday so they get a nice cushy ride on the day ! I don't want to be fearing the worst on Tuesday morning, lol !
