The volumes look okay today, best to check them at the close of trading for a clearer picture, nice rise once more

Not in here any more but keep popping back for updates, short term resistance at 17p 20dma slipping badly, mid to long term looks bullish, the SP is usually driven by news here which is why I've now sold up, I've been expecting this to drift down to 14p so it's not done to bad GL

When 4 directors buy in you have to sit up and take notice, they must be very confident in a turnaround here

Thought it was a crank call at first, a young lady with a foreign accent but spoke good English, she knew that I had previously had a large holding in MKS but I'd already sold out several years ago (Stuart Rose era) which I was trying to tell her. She was on about a takeover and I was being offered first refusal on some shares even though I didn't think I qualified, how could I and I haven't heard anything on the news either. As I was still listed as a shareholder it didn't matter she said, not sure what it was all about as I just said I wasn't interested. May have been a scam but they knew I'd been a large shareholder which was puzzling, where could she have got that bit of info from ?

Anyone heard rumours of a takeover here, just had a weird call ?

I'm looking for double today's price short to mid term and then £1.60 plus for the future

I'm afraid directors hoovering up the shares trumps your argument, they're buying in on the cheap as they obviously know there's a recovery in progress and the SP will rise accordingly which is why I've bought in, your comment doesn't make any sense either, you have to buy shares before you can sell them ? Net debt has been reduced btw

Looks like the locals are vandalising Base Titanium property now they're out of work, the power lines are shared by all the residents as well as the company though!?

Thanks for that Dave, never been on that site before, the prospects appear good looking at the projections and ratings, looks like a winner for the long term holders for the next 3 years that I can see.

Funny you should ask as I nearly applied for a job there but I missed the deadline for the application, I live and work in the UK but keep my ear to the ground regards news etc here

They've brought in some skilled workers I believe and the guys living in Kwale think they've been cheated out of a job as their contracts have ended now the plant is ready to roll virtually. You can't blame Base for wanting the skilled workers, they have a good track record so far on H&S and want to keep it that way. I believe it's a winner as well, we just need to get up and running now GL Rocka

Sounds like H&S issues on the ground, I wouldn't want someone driving around in a very expensive bulldozer if they couldn't even drive a car either!

95% complete ! Won't be long now, just the locals to pacify. Jobs don't grow on trees and I think they need to understand Base Resources can't make jobs up for them to keep them happy. The Kenyan goverment need to step in and give the residents of Kwale a reality check !

Looks like the project is nearly complete from the presentation, no further news on the local dispute regards the Kwale workers though, all a storm in a tea cup
