The Standard Digital reports Base Titanium Ltd revealed everything is in motion for the new mining venture.
General manager for external affairs and development, Joe Schwarz revealed to The Standard, “Mining is due to start near the end of this month, which will be followed soon by processing”.
While mining projects do come with their added risks, the impoverished Kwale County will no doubt benefit from the cultivation.
He stated about the way forward, “A project faces different challenges during its life cycle. The main challenges right now are to complete construction, ensure successful testing and commissioning of the plant and equipment, train plant operators and achieve rapid ramp up to full production,” said Schwarz.
