My broker has finally sent me the invite to join this morning! Decisions, decisions !

Now that the shareholders have agreed the placing we may hear some news fairly quickly here

I was in Cupid for a short period but I got the impression at the time they were fiddling the figures? There were rumours circulating that staff were making up profiles so that was me out. I gather Tinder saw them off in the end? I had a look at Iomart but didn't have the feel of a multibagger, how wrong can you be! I'm watching 20 companies at present and invested in10 so I don't get too bored and I diversify as much as I can to spread risk. MXCP have already done me proud, you may want to look at CTP, Kestrel and MXCP are both invested there, great management team in place

I'm invested heavily in MXCP so I have a vested interest here now being CSI's new advisor, I'd have bought some shares yesterday morning if I'd a few bob to spare but I'm played out quite heavily at present

If there wasn't a deal in the pipeline I'm sure there soon will be now MXCP are advising

I've no spare cash right now otherwise I'd have got in earlier

Not that many shares is issue and the major players have over 63% of the company, the MCAP looks about right for now

I notice the dating game is over here, plenty of cash to invest just where to pile the money into?

When you see Kestrel and MXCP mentioned in the same breath you know something good is about to happen

Base Resources is trading at just $0.095 per share, I can definitely see an upward potential of approximately 50% at the current ilmenite price. However, the value of the company is now much lower than the value I derived in my previous article last year. This is obviously a direct result of A) a lower ilmenite price and B) increasing the discount rate of the NPV calculation from 8% to 10%. If I would have used a discount rate of 8% in the last scenario, the NPV of the company would increase by another $30M. There is however no room for error and as it will take much longer to repay the debt facility, Base might need to refinance the debt once again. Fortunately the rutile and zircon prices are holding up pretty well, and this should allow Base to continue to produce its ilmenite at a zero cost. I agree both MXCP and CTP are difficult to value right now and 'm putting a lot of faith in the BOD here. I did the same over at Ocado even when it was the most shorted share on the planet but it's starting to pay off now. Like I posted earlier if you're not entirely happy it's probably best to be out so you can sleep at night! The Calyx deal showed the calibre and business acumen of the management team, they identified an opportunity and went for it which paid off handsomely, a precursor of things to come!

If you're feeling uncomfortable you should sell, although there's nothing to feel uncomfortable about You should know why you invested and trade around that decision. If you look at CTP ex Redstone for instance which MXCP holds just under 25% of you'll know they intend to become a mini Capita so have a clear strategy of what they're about and where they're going. Large government contracts to be won in the social housing sector in what they believe is a fragmented market.

It's hard to believe that MXCP has stayed a hidden treasure until now, the DM article has certainly put MXCP in the spotlight now and although I'm not a DM fan I certainly agree with what's been published. I had a feeling that we may have had some further news this week regards a short term investment. The longer term is as you know a further 4 platform deals over the next 18 months which will be after the shareholders meeting in June no doubt. I certainly hope the SP holds at this level, better to invest here for a range of companies and spread the risk although I have also a large holding in CTP also! As you say plenty to look forward to

If you're investing in the AIM market you'd better be careful with your pennies, diversify your portfolio, remember the rules (there ain't none), resource shares are the most volatile, do plenty of research, only invest what you can afford to lose, be careful what you read on the BB's most of it is BS. Having said all that MXCP is going places and I believe we're all going to make a lot of money here !
