I'M not sure any of us knows what we is doing, we need something really good to happen here to turn this around, so far that hasn't happened, gutter i Announce you the winner so far as you haven't lost any money

My Mrs puts her money in a savings account or premium bonds, several years ago i recommended she invest some money in Lloyds shares at around 60p at the time, they are now 45p

whenever she gets a win on the premium bonds she will asked me how are my Lloyds shares doing?

guys do you think i will ever be able to look her in the eye and tell her the Lloyds shares have outperformed her premium bonds and investment account

I'm saying all of this as a joke of course, but it's all very true

Bloomberk, It's just so easy to get caught up in these share traps, when the share price drops you may think it's a good opportunity to average down, thinking it will go back up again, then it drops and drops in vods case since 2018

I can fully understand why people would want to take a bit of a gamble at these very low prices, but there has been a lot of extreme views here lately such as it's going bankrupt and we will lose everything or this is a no brainer and going to make me very rich

I've just been saying hey be careful here, they don't always work out the way we would like

but hopefully something good can finally come from this one for all of us

Dan, thanks for being honest that's all i ask from anyone, this one is a tricky little bugger for sure, as i mentioned before we are caught in a trap here for now and will just have to sit it out and hope something good will happen that can make a difference to the share price, so far it hasn't, I don't want to see anyone losing money here like yourself i just want to see it improve

the post below posted by MrLong caught my attention last night, if someone asked that same question 5 or 10 years ago i expect the answer might have been 2 or 3 pound, but here we are, there is no question about this industry being the thing of the future, but with such high competition and ongoing expensive infrastructure it maybe still under performing for the next 10 years

but i expect the majority of the new names coming up here are just looking for a quick in and out profit and then on to the deal, good luck to them if it pays off , we are all hoping to make some money here

anyway fingers crossed we will be in a better place here in the months ahead

The comments have one thing in common, they are all short term, short dated and based on a short term trade. VF stated they want to be the superior 5G over the course of the next 5-10 years, so if you align your investment with that, we’re do you think the price will be?

Dan, that may not be the best words for it, but how exactly would you describe this as a long term investment, sorry mate but sometimes you have to be realistic, to say it's been disappointing is being very kind, I'm still hoping something good can come from this and don't think it would be wise to sell at these prices , but it looks like they need a magic wand rather than a new ceo, let's hope it can start going in the right direction

Gutter nobody does know, and I'm not sure which are the worse the ones trying to persuade others to sell up at a loss or the ones trying to influence others to put there life savings in here

it will all come out in the wash as they say

for myself i will just try and remain neutral for now, but i can't deny being disappointed seeing this drop down so low

Gary, not sure i would want to wish it down that low for you, but if it happens good luck with that plan, my last top up here was 86 p so even in loss with that at the moment

my advice to anyone fwiw is don't invest any more than you can afford to lose on any one share much less stressful that way and investing should be fun

not getting at anyone with that comment, i made the mistake of making Lloyds a whopping 25% of my portfolio and many years later it's still a disappointment to this day at least, thankfully some of my other shares are doing ok

let's hope this can end up a bit higher for us by Friday

Hi Gary, well so far you have got it right it did and still is dropping, hopefully the tide will change at some point, there's no mistaking this has been a rubbish share since 2018, the hope is we will at some point see this back to a £1 plus again, what do you think mate?

Jax05, of course there's a chance you are right we will find out next Friday, but remember this is at a very low price right now much lower than i can ever remember or ever thought possible, I think most of us are thinking and hoping this is already priced in, we all know it's disappointing seeing a share dropping after you've bought in, but try and give it a chance and see where we are in 6 months time and maybe have a rethink about it then

not being funny but at 90 why on earth would you want to invest in a very unstable stock market

Interesting, most people seem to have upped their predictions for next Friday, let's hope the majority of us have called it right, and jax05 has got it wrong

Mrlong, that's another argument you will get a lot of mixed feelings on, if my directline shares are anything to go by, they cut the dividend after previously stating it was safe, the share price dropped around 40% on the announcement, it would be nice to see this rising now, it's already a long road back to a £1, some would argue a cut would be a good thing, not sure how that would work out in reality
