Still a great dividend yield here though guys, and can't see any reason why the sp shouldn't get back up there after inflation has started to stabilize, hopefully the sp will be a lot higher on the approach to next exdiv

My recent research shows that on the whole analysts seem positive about the stock & there’s a consensus Buy rating. Morgan Stanley analysts believe the shares could reach 1.80 which represents a 60% upside. I’ll be back in if it gets to £1, the benefits of 5G will have an effect sooner or later.

Mikey that's always the case though mate, the big guys at the top always seem to get their big bonuses regardless of whether anyone thinks they have deserved it or not, but come on there much more to vod's problems than just nick reed, massive infrastructure costs for instance and a very competitive market, not to mention the company's debt, the big question of course is can they turn things around and provide that value for shareholders, I'm not sure, so will leave someone else to answer that question if they can ?

mehmehmeh, i understand what you are saying, i think most people are aware that the coming months are probably going to be a bad time for investors in general, not just vod share holders, for myself i will just be hoping all the dividends keep coming in while we are waiting for some sort of recovery, but not much point of worrying about what we have very little control over, hopefully some good events will ease the situation, don't think everyone's in the same situation as mole-mans circle of friends, but as usual the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, just my thoughts, wish i knew the best way to deal with the share situation in difficult times

mehmehmeh, for what reason are you saying the dividend will be cut, it went down to a £1 before with the dividend at the rate it is now, or are you just getting in a panic about it for possibly no reason

I had covid recently, but recovered from it after a week or two, could have been a lot more serious i think, had i not been fully vaccinated, so a big thank you from me, to the scientists who developed the vaccine

Billzo, I will reply to you as you seem like a sensible poster, let me first say i don't know anyone on this board and have never shorted a share I'm my life, I have been invested in saga for over 5 years, just being realistic this has had a bad 5 years which makes it very difficult to have confidence in the saga management, but as i said before, i would be very pleased should it make a good recovery which would be to my benefit, only time will tell if they can

Nothing more to say here really, actions speak louder than words, and if he does turn out to be right, then i would gain from it as well, and also would be very suprised, but of course everyone has a different opinion
