Hi Gary, we are living in difficult times for sure, one thing i don't think anyone has the answer to is has that already been priced in with the already very low sp, same with the house builders you have invested in, with house prices predicted to drop 10-20 % next year that would wipe out the house builders' profits, again has it already been priced if anyone knows the answers to this, please tell me

Hi roofer, RE: recent buy it seems like a good buy at 91p but I'm not sure if it will turn out to be a good or bad decision
Vodafone has not been very kind to me as it kept dropping and dropping since i bought in here about 5 years ago, but there's nothing i can do about the past, i had the opportunity to add here for around £1 in the previous 2 years but didn't do so
each time it climbed back up to around 140, so had i done so and resold for 139 i would have reduced my losses here considerably, i won't be needing to take any money out of here anytime soon so if i have to wait a while it's not a problem, taking a bit of a gamble with this one hoping the dividends don't get reduced or stopped and just hoping it will bring some rewards, i will leave all the technical debt and merger analysing to the guys who are into all that stuff it's all double Dutch to me

retirement, i didn't see the consolidation as a big problem, i did the same as you on my sip and bought back at a good price, but just held on all through in my isa, both showing a nice profit, you could of course invest somewhere else and maybe end up losing more on your capital than you get in dividends, just saying, very difficult times at the moment and very pleased with the way this is going

Hi Dan, not sure we will ever agree on that point i made, but it doesn't matter, let's hope they can pull something out of the bag then and turn this around, doubled my number of shares here today at 91p which is almost half what i paid 6 years ago, more fool me perhaps, let's hope things will be looking better here in 2023 and at least we have Mikey on board wishing it up

nicknaim, I agree if a company can do well in very troubled times like now, inflation recession etc, then it should grow a lot faster once inflation is under control, so glad i bought back in here in the 380's

Dan, vod shares have halved in value since nick reed took over, ok i know it's all very complex, but your constant backing this guy is very strange, sorry mate but i just don't get it, if a company comes up with really good results, then everyone says what a well-managed company it is, but if it goes badly surely the guys at the top have to take some responsibility for it

will be very interesting to see which way it goes Mikey, if i do buy more i may be able to double my number of shares and only paying half the price i paid for my previous ones, still not really sure if i should do it though, it's a bit of a gamble with this share

Dan, I'm waiting until after exdiv , things are looking very unsettled here at the moment, i would rather wait to see what happens after, of course i wish you luck, just got to ignore all the noise on here at the moment

cheers roofer, if i lose out not getting the bottom price I'm not bothered, think it's worth a bit of a top up at these prices though and hopefully it may be looking a bit better in 6 months' time, the scaremongers are out in force at the moment, I also sold aviv at a profit before consolidation in my sipp and bought back at 380 glad i did they are doing well, and have held them before and after consolidation in my isa

Hi Dan, I would be more than happy if this just keeps going up and up right now and i will just hold on to what I've got, but if i am going to add here i would rather do it when it's on the way up not when it's on the way down, i just don't know what's going to happen here after xdiv and i don't think anyone does
you know yourself this has performed badly over the last 5 years, ignoring all the noise on here I'm just wondering has anything changed that will make this perform better over the next few years, if anyone can answer that question would be interested to hear your reply
