What would tin add on capex?5 Jun 2019 10:29
Very little to add on as process of slitting it out is already factored in to Cinovec plant way before completing the LCE stage let alone Hydroxide.
BCN side of Cinovec deposit PFS stated approx 5,500tpy of Hydroxide so in 2012 it was known Hydroxide can be produced.
As for the Tin.
Tin current price is around 18,500 dollars per ton. Whats the lithium price? This DFS does not even have 18,500pt cist reduction planned in ? Take out the processing and you are still getting FREE cash over the current Lithium price ?
That my friend is a no brainer. Unlucky the tin deposit was just a bit too deep ? Shame really and as for the REE's which ARE there and will come in to play they too must be on the edge of the Tin/Lithium defined stratas. Again unlucky but within the stripping out of impurities for 99.5%+ Lithium grade. So no real hit to capex , Czech deposit has approx 10-12 Million Tonnes of LCE after processing. Only a fraction has been disclosed so far.
Did you know the lithium deposit starts at visable on ground in Czech? They can strip out without even starting with any tunnels. Its a MONSTER deposit, but looks like Saxony only has the feet of the monster. I note disappointly that the other Saxony deposits are mentioned inorder to make this mine sound larger?
You mention CAPEX
What happens to CAPEX when you add in two 2 further mines not connected ??? Talk about doing it the hard way.
I am sorry. I actually held and had some belief that the tin credits would have been managed, but obviously they are just too deep for the owners to feel it would outweigh the cost of going deeper for the Tin and REE's. If they had been in this DFS , well I would have been a big buyer today. Having done my research near 21/2 years ago, today was a bit disappointing.b
Sure the lithium is needed but the capex could have been helped out for shareholders if the veins were just 50m -100m less deep. The slope of vein rises from the bottom in Saxony up to near surface in Czech, thus the Czech have a tin mine 18,500 pt @@ AND Lithium ih and REE's and potash. Hmmm.
Good luck all, but sorry about todays DFS.
