Looks like a nice 300,000 buy at 13.875p just reported.

Bottom-fishing buying coming in - and happy to pay well over the odds at up to 45p, way above the published offer price at the time.

CAPD have another 10 or so of these investments on their books from my records. With the gold price at its current high levels it's quite possible there will be more of these bonuses, though PDI is the only one so far that's surged in value like this.

Amazing news for CAPD from Australia. CAPD own 90m shares in Predictive Discovery Ltd (PDI), quoted on the ASX, i.e 14.69% of the company.

PDI have had rather good exploration results recently. And their share price has exploded.

So in the last 3 weeks. CAPD's holding has gone from being worth around A$0.9m, to its current A$6.3m :o))

This alone backs up a rather nice portion of CAPD's £80m m/cap.

Terrific news - finally the world is seeing what this company is capable of even without COVID-19.

Finncap calculated that every 500,000 CD4 tests sold added 10p per share of asset value. This one agreement alone should therefore be worth another 10p onto the share price as per Finncap.

Oogalflugal, Edison would have been "guided" in their numbers in an informal way by KWS. That's how these things work.

Lootgaloot, maybe I'll reinvest in some CAPD, MWE and/or VLG, too soon to say. I've recently added a few in SDI and RNWH, and invested in REAT - which could be a multibagger given its tiddler status. I also topped up ODX and AVCT which have since absolutely surged.

And thar she blows upwards, after a £6k buy at 1399p - with the spread reduced to an unusually low 50p.

Interesting to see the CEO of Integumen and Chairman of Modern Water stating his approval of REAT - one would assume that he has industry experience of the need for deep clean/decontamination etc, so I assume he's used REAT before?

The NASDAQ open will be 6th May, with pricing on 5th May. Range is $6.50-$8.50. One would think the $8.50 will be the figure achieved since this equates to the current price on AIM - after which we'll see what premium GAN goes to.

Q1 figures look great at first glance? EDITDA for the quarter is $1.8m-$2.2m, and cash is healthy at $6m. Q1 revenues of $8m are expected to increase nicely over the year to a forecast $37m-$39m.

These figures should certainly help the pricing, so after that it's dependent on institutional appetite in the current climate:

Zooter, I transferred my Barclays shares held in an ISA to another broker - Barclays didn't automatically sell your shares, holders just had to contact Barclays in time to initiate the transfer and were given plenty of notice to do so (or at least I was!).

Buying coming in at above 445p now.

...and another £30,000 of buys so far today, the last buy being at 1395p. Unusual to be able to buy this much stock, but perhaps the rising Buy price indicates there's not much if any left.

I've sold out over today and last week.

As per the latest Edison note, 40% of revenues have been disrupted due to COVID-19.

They've heavily reduced their forecasts. For this year to 31/12/20 they now estimate 41c EPS, i.e only around 35p EPS.

That's a P/E of 42....

I don't mind paying a premium for a quality business like KWS, but the risk/reward here has swung much too far. I can't see much upside here for a while to come, but I can see substantial downside if H1 trading and numbers in updates come as a surprise to the markets.

Of course long-term KWS should be great, and I will hopefully return at some point, but there are many other better opportunities out there without the risk and with more reward.

KWS was one of my larger holdings, and has been a great ride from 140p or so. Good luck to all still here.

For my part, it seems to me that some have overlooked SDI's statement that "At least four of our production units are providing their customers with components for medical and scientific products used in the fight against COVID-19".

Great too to see it confirmed that SDI are still looking to make acquisitions, and from their own resources (dismissing the need for any cash from shareholders).

The lockdown is already starting to lift in certain areas. With SDI heavily biased towards the critical health and biotech sectors it won't take long for those markets to normalise.

Cenkos state they believe this agreement adds around 25p per share to VLG's opening market valuation this morning, i.e half of the opening m/cap - so a new total valuation of around 75p per share:

"Based on various assumptions, described below, we estimate the present value of this single agreement to be ~£21m (or 25p per share), equivalent to approximately half of Venture Life’s previous market close valuation."

Even better - Zeus have calculated that CNIC actually achieved 7.5c adjusted EPS for last year using their calculations.

This is 26% ahead of their 6c EPS forecast, and is mainly due to their "conservative" tax assumptions.

They are again "conservative" in their forecast for this year of 9.9c EPS.

- adjusted EPS at 6.81p EPS is well ahead of Zeus's 6p forecast (revenue and EBITDA are essentially in line, so perhaps there was a favourable tax charge or other factor)
- Q1'20 trading in line with expectations
- interestingly, they say specifically that deferring the dividend is in order to make further "tactical acquisitions". I assume the current climate is helping things along in this respect
- full effect of acquisitions will be reflected in 2020

Most importantly:

"Trading in Q1 2020, together with the Group's high percentage of recurring revenues, provide the Board with every confidence of meeting market expectations for 2020."

Wow - a minimum EUR168m purchase commitment over 15 years for Dentyl and other products from China :o))

VLG's largest ever contract win (by miles I'd have thought!) will give great security going forward for sales to China, Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
