"So if Hunt is the barometer of how the UK should respond to Covid-19, what next? Follow Asia, he says. “Put in place strict quarantining for people who come from abroad. Temperature checks, not just at airports, but before you go into an office block or a restaurant.” By this he means walk-through scanners: if it flashes red, you’re taken for a test; green, you go on into that restaurant with some degree of comfort. “Having held out against any kind of airport checks,” he adds, “Dominic Raab is now not ruling [them] out going forward.”

Agreed. A rather encouraging update today - the 5 week time lag in local CPO prices is great news in particular considering it's in the middle of the high production season.

Production is higher year on year, sales lower and CPO sales prices considerably higher, so probably a decent month in normal and relative terms overall.

A poster elsewhere has also noted positively that "Last year break even at average $505 per tonne on average. Given the focus on productivity and efficiency and the increased yield to plus 23% it is fair to extrapolate DKL is running profitably right now."

The strong performance of GAN mirrors that of another iGaming-focused company that recently went public, DraftKings. Also on NASDAQ, the company has watched as its price increased from $12.61 on April 6 to $21.61 as of yesterday afternoon. It’s hard to argue with the numbers, and they show that Internet-based gaming is going to be the gaming of the future."

Following the successful outcome of the compulsory purchase inquiry into the purchase of land on the former SSI steelworks, a contractor has now been appointed to begin major redevelopment work on the site.

Hartlepool-based Seymour Civil Engineering has this week started site clearance and preparation work on land known as the Grangetown Prairie, as part of a multi-million pound contract with the South Tees Development Corporation (STDC).

The 124-acre site will be one of the first areas to be redeveloped as part of the STDC’s masterplan, which hopes to deliver 20,000 new jobs and more than £1 billion per year into the UK economy over the next 25 years.

The work has begun just days after the compulsory purchasing ruling, which granted the STDC powers to purchase the former Redcar steelworks, following a three-year legal battle.

The positive outcome means the 4500-acre site can be redeveloped and provide good-quality jobs to people in Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool."“That’s why I am pleased that, less than a week on from the judgement, we are moving forward and getting spades in the ground.”

Councillor Mary Lanigan, leader of Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, added: “Starting the redevelopment work of the former SSI site is a huge step forward and one which brings the prospect of high-quality jobs for many thousands of people across the region.

“The site has the potential to bring prosperity and a better quality of life for so many of our residents and seeing the development of large-scale, cutting-edge manufacturing on the site would be a fitting use for a borough which made the steel that built structures which transformed places around the world.”

I watched it, and the CEO was impressive as he always is these days. IMO he comes across as someone who knows the business inside out and has a strategy to maximise value which works well.

CNIC is benefiting nicely from the pandemic, even if not to a "material" extent, and the business is trading well with Q1 ahead of forecasts and April numbers continuing in the same vein.

There's no reason why the business and share price shouldn't continue to progress nicely imo.

In particular, CNIC are on a very large discount to (larger) peers like GoDaddy and Tucows. If the discount doesn't close, perhaps these companies wii consider bidding for CNIC.

1m shares was reported through on Monday at 52p, immediately followed by an uptick.

Since that 1m trade the share price has been climbing on relatively small buying, and the spread has closed further. It looks like an overhang has been cleared.

Hopefully the pathway is now clear for a good rise from here.

AVCT are in discussion with "several" other groups re commercial partnerships for COVID-19. More news flow a-coming:

"Why The Upsizing Matters

The substantial increase in GAN’s offering size indicates strong investor demand for the shares, but it’s important for another reason.

Under the company’s previous offering terms, the stock would have priced with a market capitalization of $192 million, putting it in micro-cap territory. By increasing the size of the IPO, GAN “commands a fully diluted market value of $254 million,” according to Renaissance and that doesn’t account for today’s price appreciation.

The higher GAN’s market value is and the further removed from micro-cap status it becomes, the shorter the odds are that the stock will eventually be added to widely followed small-cap benchmarks, such as the Russell 2000 and the S&P SmallCap 600 indexes.

GAN is already significantly larger than the smallest Russell 2000 stock, but its market capitalization would need to grow to at least $450 million to be considered for the S&P SmallCap 600.

Entering one or both of those benchmarks would be a coup for the iGaming software maker because fund managers that track those indexes would have to buy GAN stock."

New interview from yesterday, confirming that Q1 numbers are "slightly ahead", with no deviation since then. This resilience is due to:

- products like domain names are key tools for the internet
- ability to fulfil is very strong
- entire supply chain is online, so unaffected
- strong recurring revenues, at 92% last year, via subscriptions or rolling contracts
- the current climate is useful for assessing further acquisitions

It's amusing to read posts by those who have never met or researched ITX casually dismissing today's RNS without knowing anything of the context, the global supply agreements already in place or the potential. C'est la vie :o))

Looks very encouraging:

- ITX are one of the beneficiaries of COVID-19
- Q1 revenues are up strongly
- new product selling well and New Wave ahead of plan
- net cash is holding up well
- funding proposals being developed include debt as well as equity

For a £2.2m m/cap tiddler the upside here remains immense, whilst it appears prima facie that ITX won't be going away any time soon and that trading and prospects continue to improve.

The lack of available stock from presumably locked-in institutions and most British PIs who can't deal for a few weeks post-NASDAQ certainly helps the chances of a decent premium to the IPO price - and the 101% premium achieved by DraftKings on their IPO last week won't hurt either.

Dubz, excellent posts, thx. Just to say that I understand no broker notes have been issued as REAT are keen to minimise costs due to still being such a microcap tiddler. However, with a story to shout about now perhaps this will change after the interims RNS in June.

It's good to hear that REAT are focused on keeping costs low to the benefit of the business.
