Well, I didn't originally buy VLG earlier this year as a COVID stock - but I didn't buy AVCT and ODX as COVID stocks either and look what's happened to them!

Today's news of clinical trials should certainly generate some interest, and may even lead to good news re treating COVI which would be terrific:

The review concluded that Cethylpyridinium Chloride (CPC) may be effective in this respect. Venture Life's Dentyl mouthwash, which is currently sold in the UK and eleven other countries, contains CPC as its main active ingredient.

Venture Life is delighted to be partnering with Cardiff University and its affiliates, in order to help facilitate this valuable research. The clinical study entitled 'The measurement of mouthwash anti-viral activity against COVID-19' (MOMA) will be commencing in August and is expected to last for 12 weeks. This is a multi-centre study and will recruit patients currently in hospital with COVID-19, commencing at Cardiff hospital.

Professor David Thomas from Cardiff University commented: "We are very keen to start this much needed clinical trial as our review of the literature indicated that we need to look deeper into the possible positive impact that mouthwashes may play on the transmission of COVID-19. GAN reported an excellent second quarter driven by nearly 100% year-on-year revenue growth, with the largest part of our revenue principally derived from US real money Internet gambling, growing a phenomenal 110% year-on-year on the back of $129 million in gross operator revenue.

Our revenue exceeded consensus estimate for the quarter and we're currently executing on significant growth through the rest of the year and reiterate our full year revenue forecast of $37 million to $39 million. Initial markdowns are often too severe, and hopefully that will be the case here too. Hopefully there'll be a nice bounce given the reiteration of guidance on forecasts.

IPO costs are always written off as incurred in the period and shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone. Fanduel sports revenues will be a miss, but not significant in the scheme of things short-term and even less so as GAN grows revenues swiftly, including the likely extremely lucrative Q4 launches in Michigan.

Which is why GAN have been able to reiterate guidance for this year even without the Fanduel sports revenues.

Plus GAN has $64m cash to spend on growth and acquisitions, of which there are "several opportunities" at present.

And of course we can look forward to the news of the new ‘Tier 1’ client in the near future.

Finncap note this morning that VISITECT alone would cover much of the current m/cap, excluding anything from Food Intolerance or COVID-19.

And that's assuming conservatively £8m-£12m of VISITECT sales, when the addressable market is £20m, so potential gross profits of up to £14m:

Incidentally, Peel Hunt's forecasts per their recent 2nd June 2020 note are:
this year : 1.9p EPS
next year : 2.1p EPS

At 15.15p that's a current year P/E of only 7.9.

Peel Hunt will update their forecasts after getting more insight to H1 consumption, but even if they reduced to say 1.5p EPS this year, INSE would still look very good value at the current price. Especially with the easing of lockdown and a clear path to next year's 2.1p EPS forecast.

I like the sensitivity model used by Zeus for additional contract wins - at least they've had the imagination to have a stab at it, whilst using prudent core forecasts.

Even the lower end of the model £4m additional revenues for next year gives rise to a £1.3m PBT, whilst an extra £6m revenues brings in a £2.6m PBT. The top of the range £10m extra revenues scenario brings with it a £5.2m PBT.

The takeaway is that the current £32m m/cap will look pretty small beer if and when the promised contracts this year are delivered.

A few great snippets - the upside here in a bull market for gold is truly transformational:

- a new Load & Haulage contract is usually worth $40m-$50m per annum per contract
- CAPD are tendering on "multiple" such contracts
- the H1 57% utilisation rate could be 65% in H2 and 75% next year in a strong market
- there are 40 idle rigs. These could each earn $2m, i.e up to $80m more per annum
- on top of positive w/cap in H2, H2 is normally more cash-generative than H1
- the high H1 tax charge should reduce to 25%-30%
- I also noticed additional investments in Graphex Mining (GPX on the ASX), and Allied Gold to those in my thread header post - will have to investigate

The overall tone was extremely bullish, particularly re the recovery of exploration, the renewed scoping of gold resources previously uneconomic, the tendering opportunities etc.
