Thank you Ratboy!
Bought in originally during covid time, But had various purchases from £2 all the way up to maybe £4.80 (div reinvestment mostly)
However I sold the ones bought at higher prices last year to fund a car purchase. I made money on those but nothing like this :)
I can honestly say if I had sold and bought BP all the times I wanted to I would be very rich haha!
Work takes over unfortuantely, I am an engineer in London and good at what I do, meaning it all gets thrown at me. Still doing reports at this time of night, Im out the door latest 5:30am every morning. Then again I charge accordingly for my time!
Yopu guys wont have seen the last of me though, if they do the usual £1 drop on good (and also bad but good) news i will be back in. Money will sit in the account for a while.
Currently up 0.91%, let’s hope things go back to where they should be over the next few weeks!

Tinker, I will be very surprised if we dont see a fast recovery, Hopefully at the end of play today.
Manalo, If you get in at that price well done mate. Who knows as it's all over the shop now they have opened over the pond!
That BP will drop on good results, It's genius really.
BP announce good results (albeit with a caveat like today's no div increase/reduced buybacks)...Big boys sell a heap of shares...The sheeple panic and follow into the wolves den....Big boys emerge buy back all their shares and the sheeple's for a bargain price.
Probably be up 5% by the end of the week !
FYI I bought a fair few around 509p, I was super busy at work so could not watch events unfold and have annoyingly missed the bottom. I think we are there now at 501p.
Just bought some more, Only £2.5K worth but suspect it might be worth 3K by the summer plus another £100 a year dividends.
Currently hold 6 figures in BP and before this drop I hit 100% increase at £5.80 which I was pleased with, As others keep saying, HOLD and you will be ok. This will only go one way, Far too much cash being made for anything else to happen.
Just sold around 1/3 of my bp that was held outside an ISA, 6073 shares @ just under 4.60.
Doubled my investment with dividends, Not a bad afternoons work :)
Have 15K allowance left on my isa, Hoping to get back in at a better price with some of these funds....."Hoping!"
What to do with the rest though?! I have some PSN and like that meaty dividend!
The thing that amazes me more than anything is people panic selling when the outlook for BP et al is superb.
I will admit I did not expect us to drop below £4 but a drop was always likely after that crazy climb.
The big boys will make some insane profit out of this week.
I only wish I sold at my target of £4.50 so I could have reinvested it all again now!
I still think we will see over £5 this year FWIW.
