The massive print is PPI, they were predicting a 0.3% raise and it was a huge -0.5% print. Never seen a miss that wide

Core PPI they forecast 0.3% and it came in -0.2%, again a huge misread. The fed have ballsed up massively and should have cut much sooner much harder

There is no such thing as responsible mining, it is an energy intensive and environmentally destructive activity. There is no way to sugar coat it, phrases like responsible mining are just churned out to try and minimise what is happening.

By value and volume now it is copper which would be worrying given that Net Zero is undeniably in its death throes.

By competence and logic, most would see this a gold asset in which case the upside is very much more poignant.

As an aside, start looking at coal producers. Just as Germany led the idiotic into the Utopian, unworkable world of Green energy, it is also leading us back out and returning to coal for cheap power.

Given there have been no major nuclear commitments, the "lost" energy forecast from renewables (unreliables) will have to come from somewhere. As we feel the pinch that has to be gas or coal. And coal is far cheaper.
