What am I missing Quady?

Jersey can pick and choose who it lets in, yet the UK has to let violent unskilled dross with no money behind them in?

I'm failing to see the logic here. You can claim asylum in any country you like, the UK has to take absolutely every waif and stray going but Jersey can make it difficult or impossible to emigrate there?!

Why is it that the UK hating woke classes think the UK is a dirty doormat to be walked all over let they laud other nations?

And another problem with this mass influx of non English speaking dross is the disproportionate impact on our public services. They're chewing up double GP appointments because they need interpreters on the phone, they've never seen a dentist in their life in their third world homelands so they're getting their manky gnashers fixed up when normal people can't even book an appointment for a filling.

They bring violence and crime. Police won't attend shop burglaries any more so they're helping themselves, which is the real reason the price of goods is rocketing.

Why would highly respected Doctors and Engineers pay 3-4 grand to a smuggler gang to get a place on a dinghy then risk life and limb to cross the channel when they could just spend £100 on a Rynair ticket to the UK if they thought they'd be due Asylum.

Quady, divide what the government spends from all forms of personal taxation (ie not corporation tax for example) by the number of people in the country and the answer is £16,000 or thereabouts

Therefore if you are not contributing £16K through various taxes, then somebody else is subsidising you. The top 5% of earners pay 50% of all taxes

Importing millions of Deliveroo drivers and their dependents makes the problem far worse. Forcing those who pay the lion's share of taxes to leave makes the problem disastrous.

Drill for oil

Slash Taxes

Slash the civil service

There you go. Simple answers to "complex" issues and every one of them would make the country a far better place.
