Evening Ian,
Please could you put another guess down for 30th July, the last working day before my birthday on 1st August (never thought I'd be having a birthday guess)
Hoping, praying and crossing fingers that it's concluded before then, but would be a cracking birthday weekend for me if it was
Hope you're well mate and thanks, as always, for keeping this game going
Calamari, they were forced to issue that speeding ticket because the sp had shot on with no grounds within a matter of days
This has been a slow steady decline so they are under no obligation to do so
Yesterdays rns, however, i see as doing just that , it was to tell the market that nothing had changed and things are progressing as they should
What more can you ask for
I have a question for some of the more experienced investors out there.... as Ive never been in a dividend paying stock before. Even so, I think EUA might be quite a unique dividend situation
Anyway, my question is.... if your account setting were set to automatically reinvest the dividend payment into EUA, would you be reinvesting at the SP inclusive of the dividend? For instance, if we got a dividend of £1 and the residual value of the company was 10p, the SP would rerate to £1.10 and your dividend reinvestment would buy shares at that price? Or would your reinvestment happen at the residual price of 10p?
I think i've just answered my own question thinking about it, but would be keen to have some reassurance
How can you say that RNS had no meat on the bone, when they LITERALLY JUST TOLD YOU THEY ARE UNDER NDA
I think that RNS gave as many hints as possible, and reassurances, without contravening AIM rule 15
anyone selling now is a fool in my opinion
the BOD have the seen the SP sliding and done what they can, that was to instil confidence in SH as we all have been asking them to do
I highly doubt potential buyers are walking away from a deal to own PGMs because the metals have dipped in price for a few days
These are prized metals and any forecast for the next 10 years shows where the prices will end up
The buyers arent buying on this weeks prices, just as they werent buying on last weeks
Ste, i agree with you on that one
The average investor these days is more of a trader and i imagine they think a partial sale wont yield the returns they were hoping for with a full sale so have moved on to chase rainbows
I for one think partial sale is best of both worlds, massive dividend now and still get to be involved in eua going forwards when pgms prices hit their peak in a few years- whats not to like!
It is frustrating, especially when there have been so many false dawns
The SP really doesnt concern me anymore, just as it is disconnected from the companys value, i am also disconnected from it
Ive only been in since last october so i am heavily underwater, think my average is 28, but ive kept adding and adding and will continue to do so when funds come in
I think the BOD have shown how wily they are, im sure the FSP could have been completed months ago for a price the buyer wanted, but they werent willing to give this up for anything less than its true value. They know anyone controlling these assets will be in a position of power in the coming years
GLA, holding long and strong
Dealer, i think they are doing just that, working tirelessly to get this deal over the line
Once that falls into place, so too will the SP
Its not their fault the market isnt listening when theyre advertising the millions of oz of PGMs theyre sitting on, but one day soon the market will wake up to it
Calamari, why you waste time nit picking at ian's warm hearted post is beyond me
It is truly baffling why some on here just want to start an argument and bring negativity, especially to one such as ian who never has a bad word to say. Go and find some joy somewhere!
I dont think its a negative thing that the company didnt explicitly mention the sale- the RNS wasnt about that and they have to release market sensitive information as soon as they can so its not like they could have delayed this announcement until they had a sale update.
Besides , they said they were progressing with their strategy mentioned 12th may rns, which basically is the sale of assets
Hopefully more news flow from here now this subsidary has been established
RMR, very good points raised
If a possible raise is critical to the BODs plans like before then im sure they will reach out to make sure it gets passed through and wouldnt risk the chance of the motion being rejected
Seems likely that this resolution is just so they can keep their options open, as is their right, to be able to fund raise should the need arise
